Hey, what's up everybody? I've been observing for some time but only decided to join recently.
So you want to know about me? My name is Ben, I'm 22, I live in Georgetown, Texas and I am a big fan of videogames, wrestling, going camping, swimming, hockey, sometimes college football, educational TV (Discovery, Animal Planet, Court TV, etc) like to draw, listen to music, read fantasy and sci-fi (mostly), watch movies, catch a little TV every now and then and I am into anime, I guess. Im a collector of sorts, from cards, comics, action figures, magazines, coins, the list goes on.
As for Bay films? Well, I liked everything I've seen so far, haven't seen the Island yet, but would like to see it.
P.S. Also a fan of Transformers, natch.
Edit: Oh! For what it's worth, I've got Jon Voigt's autograph!

Hi I'm Greg, 20, and from Illinois. I'm a screenwriting student currently attending Columbia College in Chicago very much to my disdain. I went there thinking that if I left art-snob cinema alone, it would leave me alone. Well several assault on my "artistic-integrity" later and I'm starting to make a lot of enemies at College (High School all over again). And unfortunately for Mr. Bay, the "artsy" crowd has no appreciation for his movies. I guess he'll have to make due without the respect of vegans and potheads (no offense to vegans, Potheads can feel free to take offense though). Anyway I hope to get to write and direct my own ideas someday which is counter to Hollywood's structure unfortunately.
As for what I do now. I do paintings, generally I go for realism as opposed to abstract. I also try to build replicas of movie props. So far I've made Cyclops' visor from X-Men 2, Marty's Hoverboard from Back to the Future 2, and a Proton Pack from Ghostbusters.
Right now I work on the dock at Marshall Fields or Macy's or whatever name they want to put on the garbage we sell. I unload trucks and de-trash the merchandise. Oh and also get condescended towards by the inept and lazy management team. Loads of fun there.
As for what I think of Michael Bay. I've been a fan of The Rock ever since I was ten but I didn't consider myself a Michael Bay fan until Bad Boys 2. I rented the first one the day before 2 came out and enjoyed both of them. Then when I check IMDB shortly after and saw something called "The Island" starring Ewan McGregor with Michael Bay directing, I was really excited. And now that movie is sitting in my DVD rom drive. As for Transformers, I have the highest hopes for it, cause even in the worst case scenario, we're still getting big freakin robots beating the hell out of each other. Long story short; KEEP 'EM COMING MICHAEL!!!

Way to scan the forums Jet....how did I miss the introduction page. *slap!*
Anyhoo...Jetplague is a 34 year old fan boy. Graphic Designer/Illustrator/writer....and yet having gone and dont that in college...I'm doing blue collar work. Go fig. Watched TF since the beginning, collected toys of them over the years and even tolerated the Beast Wars when they came out. After Beast Machines....there was nothing left but crap. So been waiting for this movie for some time...and now its being made (although not how I would have imagined it would...but that's hollywood for you).
I write fan fics on the side (maybe one day I'll get my original ideas going....if I can stop thinking of fan fics.), draw when and if I can, and I love to tinker with images in photoshop and the like. (My graphic designer side likes to keep going)
Uh...any other info is on a need to know basis. You need to know...I got the info. nuff said.

Well.. before I start into the other portions of the forum and stoke flames of righteous indignation (No matter how nicely someone explains that their opinion is different--it never ceases to cause SOMEONE to go off the deep end), I thought I should at least say a quick hello here.
I've been lurking here for about 2 months, a month ago I decided to register and make some comments... little did I know that it would take a month before I would be able to respond *minor ribbing at the management* (to the credit of them, they did activate within 24 hours of the first e-mail inquiring).
I came here largely for the insight on the Transformers movie... While I am not as rabid as some of the other fans here, I believe I would be more classified as an enthusiast than a fanatic.
Professionally I'm a social worker--so while I may partake in a debate--usually I'm liable to try to diffuse it--as much as possible. 34, currently going back to school for my degree in Social Work (I've been in the field for 10 years, might as well get the pretentious piece of sheepskin to make it worthwhile). I'm from Arizona, have lived in a few other places, but realize that I need more sunshine than most parts of the country get a year... Desert Rat born and raised.
With that, Hiya folks!

I thought I might drop by and check out what I had been missing for awhile. My time is mostly spent on the Paramount Transformers board, but I thought I might check up on what Bay's site's been up to. I'll probably just pop in and out here from time to time, so don't mind me too much.

Hi guys, I'm Rockheimer(named after my favorite Bay movie and favorite producer(take a guess)). I'm an inspiring filmmaker and I'm currently writting my own scripts and hopefully am making my own website and am planing on signing up on a place like youtube(not exactly and maybe). I like to read(books, comics, manga, magazines), I'm a huge movie buff, my favorite genre in film is action mostly though I like all genres. Am a huge Transformers fan, loved them always and I can't wait for the movie! As for Michael Bay, Well, I'm a big fan of his-I love his cinematography and action scenes.
