Hi Michael, this is BadBoy3, my real name is Max. Anyway, I'm a huge, huge, HUGE fan of yours. Your on my top ten favorite directors(Others include Tony and Ridley Scott, David Fincher, and Michael Mann, but you are in the top my friend).

I love your cinematography and your cool camera angles and my all time favorite movie from you is Armageddon. Your a great directoir, critics and people that don't like your movies are too damn critical, i mena not eveyr movie has to be like Citizen Kane or The Godfather. But I guess those guys would perfer a boring,. one angle director instead of a guy who works his ass off making a film with cool cuts in it. So, a man crying for fifteen minutes in the rain is art and commercialistic vision ISN'T art? So a boring one angle, no style director like Sam Mendes, Alexander Payne, and Paul Haggis do art and you, John Woo, Dominic Sena, Antoine Fuqua, Spike Jonze, David Fincher, Brett Ratner, Tony and Ridley Scott, The Wachowski Bros, Kurt Wimmer, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, M. Night Shyamalhan, Michael Mann, and Baz Lhurman do NOT art? BULLSHIT in my book!

People have forgotten what Alfred Hitchcock said-You can always tell a good director by his or her style. And you and others mentioned above prove that.
I see the Oscars eveyr year and when they announce which film won best cinematography I've seen it and it's the same damn thing all over again, yours and Tony Scott's are are wicked at best. I think I can rightfully say that the Oscars are bull alot of the time, I mean where is your respect or any other diretcor who makes his or her movies in a commercialistic style? And here's another thought, why no best action film award?

I guess it's everyone's opinion, but sitll peopel are just to dman critical. Including their humor, so a joke delivered by miss Natalie Portman and mr Clive Owen in a film like Closer is funny and Mike and Marcus' relationship in Bad Boys ISN'T funny at all? I can understand how people want their stuff filmed but humor is one thing I'll never get with movies.

Moving on this is off topic, one suggetsion I might make for your Transformers movie is give it some cool posters with something techy like in those Armageddon posters with the clocks and show ALOT of the action in the trailers and make some of the advertisement like a mix of War of the worlds and King Kong.
