Just reading through the posts and on other boards and what is to be in the DVD..
The idea that maybe Dreamworks and ILM have not stopped forging ahead with Transformers?
Now Bay and the cast have some time off but has the behind the sceen guys not had the time off as most do when a movie wraps up and they are doing the DVD preqeal and from there jumping into the development of the bots for TF2? Cutting down time to actually fill in the movie once it starts shooting? New Transformers and what not. Is a script or plot already written? Sounds like it?
Sounds like to me unless Bay says or Nelson says diffrent that TF is not staying quiet but getting a second wind that once the hype for the DVD is over we will see the rumblings of TF 2 on its heels...and are we talking about a huge 2 year time frame?? Or something closer?? Something almost like filming back to back but a little gap to film Indy and Bay to do a small project. Then they jump back into TF and start filming next spring?? for a what Spring 09 release? Or erlier??? Just wondering is there some black ops going on at ILM that we don't know about!!
Thoughts??

i don't think thats the case. The movie has just opened in UK and is about to open in Japan. Michael is busy with the Japan premiere and other stuff. Transformers (the first movie) is by far not over yet.
Just because it has been quiet on the movie front doesn't mean it is slowing down. It is still going full force, especially at the box office.

The phenomenon that is Transformers as it is today is in full swing, I doubt the bean counting producers and such behind it are going to keep it going for as long as they can make money off of it.
Hey, I'd hoped the movie would be popular, and look, it has. That means I have two more wishes.
I must go and create havoc!

I think you guys missed what I was getting at.
Yes Bay and company are taking time to enjoy this pupularity.
What I meant was is the other guys. all thsoe guys you see rolling in the credits. Are they off and running with the pelim of TF 2. Getting everything together so that when it is time to shoot the film..it will be ready and rocking to go and not looking for the green light.
