Remember how Joel Silver was saying that the 20 minute car chase in Matrix Reloaded was going to be mind-blowing and totally out of this world?
I enjoyed the movie and yes it was quite mind blowing. It was cool in the sense that a car chase scene consisted of various parts to it while maintaining a sense of high-speed, danger, and of course destruction.
I was thinking, technically speaking, Transformers had its main final battle scene to be a HUGE battle in the city. Perhaps in TF2, they can make their big climactic scene to be a huge car chase scene, since we are dealing with vehicles with wheels, especially the Autobots.
I think it could follow the same action formula as Matrix Reloaded. Have one group fight. And then lead to BIG car chase and then end with a 1 on 1 battle between the 2 leaders.
The car chase would of course have Michael Bay's finger prints all over it. It would consist of:
Hi-Speed chases in vehicle mode
Fighting in Robot mode
Driving away from an attacking Decepticon while it is chasing on foot (robot mode)
Driving away from an aerial assault from Starscream.
Driving onto oncoming traffic and lots of Transforming in and out of Robot mode to avoid hitting innocent drivers.
Destruction of bystander cars from Decepticons
Cars being thrown off the Freeway and just teared to shreds but HUGE Decepticons
Cars being stepped on.
And make it 20 minutes long cuz when it is all done and over, you are absolutely exhausted with the visual feast.

The Matrix-films are human action, Tf consists of robots against each other. "Little" size difference

i was actually extremely disappointed with the lack of car chases in this movie. Granted the one with with bumblebee and barricade got a huge applause when barricade transformed to a car fro ma run to chase bumblebee bee, and the camera work done on the scene was awesome, but it was short, and it was really the only one.
There was sooooo much room for an intense battle where 2 bots chase each other and r transforming from bot to vehicle while duking it out....the shit that plays in my mind when i think about that stuff is insane.

Why chase in car mode? They were warriors, and faced their enemies instzead of running. Optimus did so. (True, he ran from the Sector Seven but only because he didn't want to kil any of them)
