I kinda felt the same way that some others felt about Sector 7, with them being a little unnecessary. But then I realized without Sectory 7, we would not care as much about Bumblebee.

I mean sure we care about Bumblebee but when he was caught by BB under the bridge, I couldn't help but feel bad for the poor guy. It was like Johnny 5 syndrome all over again from Short Circuit 2.

Turturro's character was WAAAAY over the top. A little bit too much for my tastes. Kinda distracted from the seriousness of the situation. But I think Sector 7 was necessary to for the development of other characters, namely Bumblebee.

I think the point of Turturro's acting was that the ego of knowing all the secrets and thinking he has all the answers has made him a little power crazy and also just plain a bit crazy.

I would have preferred to see Peter Stromare in that role, but he would have had to loose the accent somehow.

Yeah Pete would have hammed it up too. Over the top just like his Russian characters in BB2 and Armageddon.

I've been saying that all along about the over-the-top attitude with Sector 7. Just like Dr. Oken from ID4, except this guy's running the show and has gone a little off his rocker being under all of that concrete with the spark and NBE-1. Not to mention, yet again, that his family has been involved with Sec 7 since before he was born.* Tell me you guys in some point in your lives, haven't met an arrogant little sh*t who's been born into something as opposed to actually working for it? They act like they're sh*t until someone punks them like Lennox did right towards the end.
