Maybe there was a thread on this earlier but lines and scenes I saw from the trailer that were missing from the movie:
Original Transforming sound from Optimus Prime first transformation
Keller - We are facing a technological civilization far superior than our own, our enemy can take any shape, they can be anywhere
Sam - He's not gonna hurt you!
Glen - that killer robot is really distracting!
The scene where it appears that they're indoors and Lennox is holding the hand of a dying comrade calmly is also missing in the first trailer (not the full theatrical trailer or the teaser)
Also the scene where the Raptors are shooting at Starscream while he's in Robot mode and his legs are wiggling like he appears to be running on thin air. Some may argue its there but trust me, its not there.
Are there any others that were missing from trailers/tv spots?

The phrase 'Cut For Time' comes to mind. or cut for illrevelant.
The killer robot line is in the movie.
Now, it does feel like things were cut out for theatrical release. But probably be in for extended DVD edition.

oh yeah I understand why they cut it out. Just pointing out what was cut out at all was wondering what else was cut out.
IF IT IS A FACT that those were all the things that were cut out, I think they probably saved themselves a good 29 seconds in total. LOL!
But nope, have to disagree with you about the killer robot thing. The killer robot phrase was actually cut out

No. I remember him saying.
That's okay! I saw the movie three times, and a scene that was in twice before was not there the third time.
I forgot which scene, but I know it was there since I saw it twice before.
So (worked at a theater)it was probably a bad few frames of film that got snipped out by the theater staff.

ok that F22 Raptors scene shooting at Starscream in Robot mode is "kinda" there. I just saw it again and I think I saw it. It happened so fast but the thing that feels strange is that, I didn't think it was there because in the tv spot, it looks like he was being shot at from a further distance. But in the movie, it felt more close range. I guess it was because of the big screen

Its not surprising that shots like that get cut, simply by sheer amount of footage shot for this film. The same has been for every film Michael has shoot, just about less then 50% of the footage actually makes it to the final cut.
why? Because he shots a ton of angles at the same time, tons of coverage, multiple takes, especially with improved lines.
Not every shot can make it in. Plus its not all too uncommon nowadays for features to shoot footage specifically for the DVD.
Trailers are not cut straight from the final feature sequence. Much of the footage may also have been trimmed during the re-editing. Some may not have been considered for the final feature in the first place, but would support a trailer nicely.

The killer robot line isn't in the movie, I've watched for it each time and it hasn't been in it yet, and I've seen it 4 times so far.
As for Keller's whole "technological civilization" speech, I wish it was in there cause I liked how screwed it makes us sound, but it makes perfect sense that it's not. By the time they know what they're up against, global communication is already cut off, so obviously there's no way such an anouncement could be made.
Which trailer was Starscream being shot at in? Do you have a link for it so I can take a look at what you're talking about myself?
