My thoughts exactly, no one can really tell how the Execs. think,

But I like to imagine them all siting in there leather chairs, smokin cigars, and laughing while they listen to Jablonskys score in the Dreamworks evil underground secret executive suite.

Damn, I need to get laid!!! lol

Really though, there is alot of political garbage that we dont see that they deal with, it's possible they really want to release it to make some cash, but probably are having very serious issues with a score only release, maybe they didnt even contract the score for a release, doubtfull, but just look at the pearl harbor teaser trailer, hans zimmer couldnt even use his own previous work in the trailer cause of political B.S. Bay got in trouble for it and was forced to pull it outta theaters, that fuck up cost Bay and the studios a pretty buck!!!

Hard to say, but a request, NELSON... next time you talk to Bay, can you try to ask about what all the B.S. with the score is about?

Thanks.

What the hell? Why is everyone better at everything than me.

This definitely will hold me over until the day when the score may or may not get released.

Signing a net petition won't help a damn thing.

We will never get the score, deal with it. Hollywood is full of asses (except Bay & Bruckheimer).

So you see you Swedish meatball the petition did do some good after all !
 ha ha ha.

There is also a saying... "cast your vote otherwise you have no right to complain". and also "not voting is just another vote for the other guy and things not getting done."

Here are the articles below... Paramount confirms: TRANSFORMERS score CD is rolling out!
Warner Bros. Records will "shortly" be releasing the album of Steve Jablonsky's orchestral score from the movie Transformers, according to a Senior Vice President in the Music Department at Paramount Pictures.

The Knight Shift blog received this confirmation a short while ago. And you've no idea how happy I am about being able to report this!

The word comes from a source wishing to identifying himself as "Sam Witwicky all the way from New Zealand" (and in case you're wondering, I already asked if his eBay username was "ladiesman217" and he said that it's not :-). "Sam Witwicky" was able to correspond directly with the good people at Paramount Pictures: the studio which along with DreamWorks was responsible for producing Transformers. Our man Sam told them about the interest there's been in a CD release of Jablonsky's score and he mentioned the online petition (which may hit 5,000 signatures in the next few days).

Here's what Sam received back...

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Dan Butler at Paramount
Date: Aug 16, 2007 4:12 AM
Subject: RE: Transformers Original Score
To: Sam Witwicky

There will be a score album released shortly on Warner Bros. Records. Thanks for your interest!

Dan Butler

Senior Vice President

Business Affairs & Legal - Music

Paramount Pictures

So there's the word pretty much from the top: soon, we'll be getting to put our grubby lil' paws on a shiny new CD containing that majestic score from Transformers by Steve Jablonsky!

To all of you who have signed the petition and have otherwise been showing support for this album and getting the word spread about how much we'd love to have it in our collections: THANK YOU!! Nothing would please me more than to be able to shake hands with every single one of ya :-)

And very special thanks to Dan Butler and the folks at Paramount for having this great news sent along to us!

Labels: movies, music, paramount, soundtrack, steve jablonsky, transformers, warner bros.

''Transformers'' Score To Be Released After All?

The Senior Vice President in the Music department at Paramount Pictures Dan Butler has confirmed that the musical score to "Transformers" will be released "shortly" on Warner Bros. Records, according to a letter received by The Knight Shift. This was submitted to The Knight Shift by a person who refers to himself as "Sam Witwicky," so it is unknown how legitimate this is. If this does come out to be legitimate, this is great news for the continuous back-and-forth that has been experienced surrounding this issue for the past two months.
