Chuck Norris is a tricky one... I can't stand his acting, but I grew up with flicks like Invasion USA, Code of Silence and Silent Rage. Great stuff really. Somehow, I feel like I would be in denial if I said I did not like him. Nevertheless, you will absolutly never catch me watch an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger.

While I thought the first one was good but not great, I'm definitely looking forward to another one. And the more badass action stars the better. It's like Mortal Kombat for action stars. Chuck Norris vs. Arnold? Or Sly vs. Van Damme? Or Seagal vs. Jet Li? HEEEEEEELL YES!Personally, I think the movie will be perfectly fine without him.
Steven Seagal would be sweet, Trail. I actually saw him give a martial arts demonstration when I was a kid, before he started making movies. He "beat up" about 6 guys trying to attack him with swords. He's a badass.

Seagal is not in the movie, because the producer Avi Lerner doesn't want to work with him anymore. They worked together in the past, and it was a bad, bad experience, to say the least. And apparently Van Damme himself is not a huge Steven Seagal fan.

Yesterday Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris and Jason Statham arrived here for the filming. Too bad Jason is alone. No Rosie.

I'd love to see a Chuck VS Arnie fight, also now that Arnie's back doing movies I hope Cameron goes ahead with the True Lies sequel (as per his comments in the Avatar collectors edition bonus dvd)

The local news here report that there's been an explosion on the set of Expendables 2 here in Bulgaria. A Chinese stunt man died and an American stunt man is in a local hospital in critical condition.

And what a surprise, no one even mentions the director Simon West. But when the TF3 accident happened last year (which was also second unit stuff ), the first thing these so-called "journalists" said was, "It's Michael Bay's fault. His sets are not safe, he's too intense, he's the one to blame..." and on and on.
It's quite lame, but I guess that's what you can expect from internet journalists.

That's because Michael Bay is essentially a huge target for these journalists. Everyone knows who he is, what he's like, and his reputation. How many people know who Simon West is? Hell, I never knew who the guy was until I read this very post!!!

It's funny that actually Simon West and Michael Bay have something in common. Simon West is the director of Con Air which is a direct tribute to Bay and many people even think that it's Michael's movie.
