also, im a little confused. the normal bd comes with the dvd and digital download copy as well, will the deluxe edition have a dvd and deluxe copy as well? or is it just 2 disc's 1 for movie 1 for bonus content.. could someone please clear this up? that way i can buy both the bd's and dont have to wait.

By the time this is all over I will own approximately 11 versions of three movies.

    You're welcome, Paramount.

That box in the form of the AUtobot logo is one of the early concepts for the the international trilogy.
So there will be a two disc Blu Ray edition also in September 30?

The 2nd disc will just be a dvd/digital copy of the movie.

No special features for the Sep. 30th release.

From Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro, the breathtaking film redefines the scale, scope and emotional impact of what a blockbuster can be with the ongoing epic story of the mighty AUTOBOTS in a thrill-packed adventure that the whole family can enjoy. Distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, the film will debut in a Blu-ray/DVD Combo with a digital copy and on standard DVD on Friday, September 30, 2011, followed by a deluxe Blu-ray and DVD release, including a Blu-ray 3D, in the coming months.

"For fans who can't wait, the Blu-ray release in September will deliver an awesome ride with the movie in stunning 1080p high definition and a 7.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack that was personally overseen by our phenomenal supervising sound mixer just for the Blu-ray," said director Michael Bay. "As you know, we put a lot of effort into the 3D experience for the theatrical release and I want to make sure we get it right for home viewing--and that process takes time. So stay tuned for an even more incredible release that will include the film on Blu-ray 3D and loads of bonus features."

Did you really think that Paramount won't released a 3D Blu-ray after all the fuss and marketing around the movie and the technology?

Will the 3D Blu Ray come with a regular Blu Ray version?

all this is f***in confusing!! wish paramount would tell ppl whats going on with the release. im talking bout what different versions are coming out and what content it will have, so ppl can make the right decision on which version to get.. here they just trying to trick ppl into buying the normal version.. ppl wont know a deluxe or trilogy set on the way, and then drop the other versions during christmas, so ppl buy it twice.. i can understand the 3D version coming late.. but why is the deluxe version delayed? paramount is just being greedy.. all versions should have dropped in dec at the same time!
i already watched the film 5 times, im not buying the blu ray twice! i think once they made a billion, they just getting over greedy, trying to milk it as much as they can..

    For anyone who is confused:

Sept. 30th: ONLY Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy and Standard DVD versions. NO Bonus Materials or 3D.

And I will only rent this^ version from Netflix. I am kind of pissed off though, since I was looking forward to seeing a documentary and deleted scenes on the 30th. I guess I'll have to wait. I crave extras!

I couldn't agree more with you. With the first movie and ROTF, all I had to do was say: "I'm getting THAT version." Not wait around for Paramount to release a deluxe edition. In my opinion, I think that Paramount should have waited to release the film on the deluxe/3D editions in the first place. By the time they come out, there will be at least 6 versions of film available on home video. (September 30th: Blu-Ray/DVD Combo, the DVD, and the WalMart Exclusive Blu-Ray with Sentinel Prime packaging; and later: the 3D Blu-Ray, 2 Disc Blu-Ray, 2 Disc DVD.)

I'd rather have Optimus/Bee on the cover than Sentinel.

i want to see a shockwave cover, in a purple limited edition steel box set..

even a bumblebee in a yellow wit black stripe steel box set would be cool..

and for the trilogy set, want to see megatron's head, and you pull the disc's out from the damaged opening in his head!

even having a metal cube, would be better than the autobot logo, for the trilogy set.. life size cube..
