Mikaela or Carly?

Same here, ever since I saw her as a little kid in the movie That Night. She would be a handful of years older than her character, but she's like Juliet Lewis or Pauley Parrette, she simply doesn't age.

i've liked her since buffy the vampire slayer. i loved that show.

I like Mikeala better, and I think it's obvious it was originally written for her to be in DOTM.

Particularly the part of Carly trying to pull Sam away from it all, trying to get him to stay out of it, would have had a much bigger impact with Mikaela. She's been there with Sam through it all, she knows what can happen, how dangerous it is, she's almost lost him to it. It's not a road she wants to go down again.

It's a much more reasonable, and more of a connection for the audience than what they came up with as Carly's reasoning.

When I first saw the topic, I thought Mikaela, but the more I would say Carly. Carly was more caring and the kind of girl you bring home to mom and dad and spend the rest of your life with. Mikaela is like the high school crush or the summer fling that is good at the beginning, but then gets old pretty fast.

The bigest diffference is both on casting and on character level is that nomatter what was written for Mikaela Megan couldnt make anything even in the first 2 films to make any kind of dimension or life, or reality or anything come across the screen for her character. On the other side Rosie - even not being a trained actress - could succeed with character interpretation far far better than Megan.

Carly (Rose) was definitely a step down, even though seriously neither can act...as far as eye candy Mikaela (Megan) was at least hot from the neck down...Carly was not. She needed a pushup to make it look like a figure and that is not impressive at all...way too skinny. I guess when you pick someone for looks and your glasses are a bad prescription this is what you get....
Michael should've stopped with the first film; it was bad enough that Hot Rod is called Bumble Bee (blasphemy), but at least megan could move (physically able) but this girl doesn’t even seem to have any physical capabilities at all…maybe she was best left on high heels and on a runway where only a few eyes have to gaze in her direction.

Please stop here Michael, the beloved Transformers have suffered enough as of late.

As for real life girls and their looks. Neither is my cup of tea. Both too skinny and both have little problem areas that I'm nitpicky about. (As does every girl)

As for Carly or Mikaela, I'd go Carly. But DOTM's love story's emotional impact is lessened with it NOT being MIkaela. So at the end when they embrace their words fall flat on me.

I loved both characters but, they could of both been used to cause more tension, breakup, Sam moves on to Carly ultimatley his true love, I can't help but think how awesome it would of been to see "Wheelie" save or try to save Maklia with Brains " who's your little autobot"

All of a sudden Megan is a good girl?!?!? Yeah right!! Have you seen her in any movies lately?!?! All her movies bombed, why...she CAN'T act!!! I can't stand it when someone makes someone become a star and yet shits all over that person afterward when they had there cake. Kind of reminds me of Shia not wanting to do another TF movie because he's so tired of hanging from a wire. Question, have you heard of Shia before TF?! I know for damn sure I haven't!!
