So I saw the trailer in front of Sherlock Holmes 2, and everyone in the theater bursted out laughing when the title appeared.

Is that a bad sign?

Uhhh...that was me when I first saw the teaser poster for Transformers 1.....and now look where I am...

Same happened when I saw the first TF announcement trailer (with the Mars Rover). Laughter insued when the word TRANSFORMERS appeared.

I don't ever remember hearing laughter when I saw the announcement trailer. But I do remember myself thinking during the Mars stuff that it was going to be another War of the Worlds movie. My reaction to the title was like, ".........wait, what?"

Yeah, I remember seeing the teaser and I thought to myself "Who the hell is going to see that..." and then I ended up seeing it 3 times in theaters.

I saw the teaser in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. I agree it's very Transformers-esque; definitely looking forward to it.

I didn't know about this movie, so I was surprised when I read the 'fine print' and saw Hasbro.

So people. Everybody is crying that there is no TF4 being made in the near future. Well cry no more cause it's already here and it's called Battleship!!!!
Check out the Super Bowl trailer and say that the robots in this movie doesn't look or sound anything like the Transformer robots!!
So Michael Bay impressed everybody so much with the falling building that the Driller cut in half in DOTM, that they just had to do the same thing in Battleship!

The summer Olympics in London are during 27th of July-12th of August 2012, so it can't have nothing to do with the Olympics since it's gonna premiere in the US already on the 18th of May.

Well what do ya know. There's a Battleship game coming in May. It combines naval strategy simulation with first-person shooter gameplay. Sounds interesting.

Cool but why post it in three different threads.

I hope the CG is not in such huge amounts as it is in this trailer. Makes it look like a game.
I'm pretty surprised they won't release this in 3D. Lots of eye poping effects. It'll be great to see it in the good old 35mm film.
