This will be a success as it's more to fans of the comics than those who liked Raimi's efforts.

Mcguire was never that good as Spider-Man as he was not sarcastic or witty like Spidey in the comics, i did loved SM 2 though which was the only great film out of that franchise but this will be awesome.

But as far as Marvel films go, give me X-Men 1/2/First Class, Kick-Ass, Blade 1 & 2, Iron Man 1 & 2, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor and Punisher 1 & 2 anytime over Spider-Man 1 & 3.

The only downside with this new movie is that Emma Stone will never beat Kirsten Dunst!

John "The Rock, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor" Schwartzman is the DP on this movie. I always say "If it's shot by Schwartzman, it's worth it."


So even though I'm not a huge Spider-Man fan, I'll check this one out.

Emma looks cute in this movie and i think she's perfect for Gwen Stacy.

Who thinks this looks like the classic comics combined with both 90s animated series and Spectacular Spider-Man series combined together?

Spider-Man 3 sucked for afterall the coolest Spider-Man villain Venom just had an extended cameo instead of being the main villain for the movie, i hope in a sequel Venom will be the true main villain of the picture with Carnage as well.

Saw this on TV. Was thinking the exact same thing...except...I don't care. Trailers and TV spots are going to use the same/similar music no matter what. It's inevitable.

I was really pissed off at Skyline and Battleship when they did that, but I think here its ok, seeing how the movie is very different from Transformers. And yeah, this movie looks honestly quite amazing, the only thing in my opinion that might be holding people back right now IS the main actor.... He looks way to much like that guy from Twilight.

Actually Garfield is more talented than Pattison himself and if you seen Social Network, you can tell he is a solid new actor.

I hope Shocker with Kingpin be in the sequel
