I hope Apple will give more iPads to people who needs them, like this boy. Kudos to Michael for the effort.

I read some of the blogs people sent me from other sites, a couple have totally missed the point. Yes I could of bought one for Cody. Not the point, I'm trying to get Apple and Steve Jobs to understand what an amazing device they have - and never intended. Cody's mother told me the device for communication they insure Cody for are basically shitty and cost 10k. No internet connection. Ipad $700. Insurance will not cover them because you can connect to the internet - are you kidding me. Insurance is always so lame and behind the times.

The point is to get the message out to that these devices like ipads can help kids like Cody.

There are always people that misread things.
10k for the communication device??? These people are nuts trying to get rich on the back of disabled people.

    Hey Michael.
    What a wonderful clip!
Insurance companies always seem to be lagging behind. I´m really glad to see you influencing Apple to help kids like Cody, and I hope the iPad will work better for him (i´m sure it will) than the device he previously had.
Hope you´ll consider giving Cody a role in one of your future films and let him be a part of the dream. I for one, would love to see him in one of your movies.

    Regards

This is really awesome, and owning an iPad myself, it's definitely an amazing product and I think we've just scratched the surface of it's applications in education, especially in special needs areas.

It would have been simple to just buy him one, but by getting Apple involved and documenting the solution, it has the opportunity to become more than just a singular event.

Thats very true. i seen a video on youtube where a class room had a bunch of ipads and the school used them as a tool of teaching were they had math games ect ect. which is a very cool idea.
