No completely false. No 4 th Transformers movie even exists right now. Thus no one is being considered at this time. How bout, just enjoy the movie out right now.
Michael
Well said Mr. Bay, well that settles that discussion.
I have to admit i'm quite curious as to what Paramount do with the TF franchise as it's shown to be popular (I hear that DOTM has helped make Paramount the most successful movie company so far in 2011).
Will they take a break or announce in a year or so that TF4 is coming?
Either way, i have greatly enjoyed your TF movies, Sir
Don S Davis 1942-2008
Godspeed
Attention ! That's our mani saw 3 times in a row Mr.Bay
2 3D and 1 2D ! Please consider even a little to do TF4 or to be behind it with Cameron for 3D and you for action :P but now DOTM we all hope to beat Pirates 4 and HP domestically at least to be the king of 2011

I went with 5 friends and every time changed them :P
HOLY SHIT! Mr. Bay replied to a thread i started! *faints* this made my day!
You'll be ok S'1017.Mr. Bay is a good guy & FANTASTIC director. 'Loving DOTM !!!!!!!!!
man i agree with you Mr. Bay, this movie just came out and is FREAKING AMAZING, im not expecting a 4th or a reboot for a few years, i have seen DOTM about 8 times already, its amazing and i dont want a reboot or 4th anytime soon.
the third was good but could have been better. i honestly doubt Paramount/Hasbro will wait longer than they did to announce DOTM its all about money at the end of day. by next year (first quarter) we will have it announced. sorry Mr Bay but at the end of the day the film studio will want the money coming in again soon
If the transformers franchise is going to continue, then I want Bay to direct it. Transformers is nothing without a little bit of Bayhem! Jason could play in it, but not direct![]()
Lol this thread is funny
"My story is of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon."
Thank you. I've really enjoyed DOTM and plan to see it again (and again...).
The truth is, I don't want to speculate about a TF4 unless there's a chance you'll change your mind and continue your work on them, even if you leave the director's chair but continue to play a strong role as executive producer like George Lucas did for some of the Star Wars films.
I am glad, however, that the rumor about Statham was total crap. Thanks again for clearing it up.
Thank you Michael Bay for this incredible experience! Seen it twice but need more. I am in fact enjoying it! Part 4? WTF? who cares right now. This is awesome.
ALL HAIL BAY
Am I the only one who feels that Michael is still involved with the movie? I don't know, for me these words made me believe that actually not everything is lost about getting Michael to direct a 4th movie. At least he knows that there is no 4th movie and no one is being considered at this time. But maybe that's because he is producer as well. Well at least I can dream about it.
We're waiting for Pain&Gain Michael. And why not in 2 years time when you get the deserved rest do a fourth movie? This is your destiny.![]()
dude i wasnt tryin to bait anyone, i have no affiliation with that site, i saw someone post it on twitter, i thought it was interesting so posted it here. also what ever was on that link, i copied the text and posted it as well, so ppl dont need to click anything.. as to why to post it here, the rumor was to do with the future of the franchise, alot of ppl discussing that here, i saw a rumor, i posted it. if the mods had a problem with it, they would have taken it down. mr. bay was kind enough to say its completely false, end of story..
I knew from the start that the whole Staham-rumor was nonsense. They probably just came up with it because he is dating Rosie. Dont get me wrong I think Statham is a great actor, probably the best action-actor at this moment and it would be cool to see him in a Transformers movie but this just screamed "rumor" for me.
Personally I think if Bay doesnt direct than there shouldnt be another TF-movie. Its his style that defines these movies and nobody else has his style. Not even Spielberg could do it the way Bay does. It just wouldnt feel like Transformers for me anymore especially since I am such a fan of his style. So for me its no Bay=no Transformers.
On the other hand with DOTM so successful it probably is only a matter of time before Paramount wants to make a 4th one.
Speaking of rumors: I heard that Bay never wants to work with Shia again since they had a lot of problemes with each other on the set of DOTM. is that true? Sounds like complete bull to me but maybe one of you knows more about this?
Of course as usual with Michaels movies there are a lot of haters out there who tear apart DOTM. Man I am so tired of these people. If they hate Bays style and his movies so much then why the hell do they still go and see them?? Just so they can bitch some more about them? I am so tired of all the Bay-haters out there.
I love all of his movies even Revenge of the Fallen which most people hate (Even Shia and Michael himself dont love the movie all that much). Sure it has some evident flaws for sure but I still love ROTF because it has all the typical Bayhem that I love so much in his movies (the action, his filming style, the amazing score etc.) and for me the good stuff outweighs its flaws. Its certainly not his best movie but I still like it quite a lot (Even like it better than Armageddon).
That said Dark of the Moon is far better. Its the best of the TF-series and truly epic. Loved it immensely even though it has its flaws . But they are rather minor compared to ROTF. Shockwave and Megatron should have had more screentime (Especially Shockwave since he was promoted as the new big villain) and should have had bigger and more epic battles with Optimus and the movie had some unnecessary lengths (particularly in the last hour which slowed down the pace too much at times) but overall it was very amazing and had everything I want in a Michael Bay-movie. His particular style, over-epic action that just blows your mind away, great emotions and an awesome score.
I am a big fan of movie scores (score not soundtrack), especially those epic, emotional scores. My favorite composers and scores are John Williams Star Wars-scores, Howard Shores Lord of the Rings-scores or Hans Zimmers work on several films. I also think that the score for The Rock is probably the best actionfilm-score ever made besides Transformers.
Before Transformers I wasnt a huge fan of Steve Jablonsky. His scores for Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th were decent but nothing special. Same goes for The Island. BUt with Transformers he blew me away. From the start it became one of my most fav scores of all time. The score for Revenge of the Fallen was even better. People can say what they want about that movie but the score was beyond awesome. So emotional, powerful and majestic. I really, really loved jablonskys TF-scores so ofc I was really looking forward to his score for Dark of the Moon. And man, he delivered as big as Michael did! DOTM has an awesome score, I absolutely love it. I listen to it every day since it was released and even more so since I finally saw DOTM. I totally love the new themes as well as the ones from the previous movies in the score and his action-music or Showckwaves theme are just mega-badass.
Music is a very important element in movies (and especially in Bays) and once again Jablonsky managed it to make the movie better and more powerful with his music. Thank you Michael for selecting Steve to do the music on these movies. You couldnt have picked someone more ideal for the job.
So yeah DOTM totally rocks and only confirms for me that Transformers without Bay should never be even considered.
