Since Barricades role fascinated me in so many levels, I would fathom over a high rez ILM render of this guy, and Soundwave!!

The latest concepts are so sweet, and I can understand why they chose not to have Optimus in that battle mode trailer that looks bad asss. Flying against the driller was probably the final decision.

I must admit though, that the trailer becoming a shield to protect him should have been used against Sentinel or Shockwave.

I've looked everywhere for Optimus renders from #3 that have the new torso and can't find anything...
I don't understand why they haven't released HQ ones like they did on the first one.

Anyone have any idea?

Man everyone on the net is going gaga over the "cloverbot" as people were reffering it to before the actuall name came out. This has to be one of the best bot designs of the movieverse i've seen. One question though...
while i'm not complaining since i love the design, how the heck does a Russian mobile ICBM launch vehicle appear in Chicago for the cons to scan for an alt mode? again, not complaing, just thought it was funny.

This is an early concept art, before the plot was finalized. I am guessing that at some point there was a plan for an action sequence taking place in Russia. Later they used the design for the final battle in Chicago without the vehicle mode.
