No prolonged battle scene in DOTM as memorable as the forest battle scene in ROTF.

I was expecting an epic battle scene but the ones they showed in DOTM were short. Just a few short punches or shots or another thing will happen, like a human, will show up and rescue the robot or the scene will just jump into something else. We all remember the forest battle on ROTF and all the little things you can pause your dvd and find. Also in ROTF Bee's fighting rampage and ravage was amazingly choreographed and left a lasting impression you can go back to. The only thing I would like to go back to on DOTM is the highway chase scene.

Oh yeah, I felt the same way while I was watching DOTM. It was wild and I had a hard time keeping up with the battle scenes. Not that I didn't like it, it was just kinda hard to follow, ya know?

Dude, did you miss the gigantic sequence that took place in the collapsing skyscraper? That's now my favourite moment from the entire franchise. The shot where the camera followed the characters through a floor and straight out the windows and down was breathtaking. This is the first 3D movie that's blown me away, and I'm including Avatar which bored the hell out of me. There have been so many sucky cash-in conversions, I've been waiting for a director who knows how to make the most of the format by shooting in 3D. We've got movies shot in 3D by Scorsese and Spielberg still to come (Hugo Cabret and Tintin) but for now DOTM takes the crown for the best movie in 3D.

I'll admit that the forest battle in ROTF was my favorite (single fight) of the series.

However, there was just so much more going on in totality (in DOTM), that it far surpasses ROTF in that regard.

I really liked that part also. But my post is about finding a fight scene that would leave you in awe between robots. There were none in DOTM that blew me away as when in the forest battle Optimus yells "I'll take you all on" and the music comes on and is just something awe inspiring after that. I can't recall nothing but Optimus stuck dangling from wires or getting bitch slapped by Sentinel prime.

When I watch ROTF, I skip right to the forest battle then exit the movie. It was the only memorable action scene.

In DOTM, I already seen it twice and the sequence from Sam & Epps entering Chicago to the very end is very very memorable.

Also can't forget the highway chase sequence and the sky divers...the slow motion sequence of the jumper jumping out and the plane falling down the sky. It was soooo epic!! I can't believe they didn't even have a single one in ROTF!

Optimus had a speech at the end though a bit shorter and I thought is waaay better that the one in ROTF which hardly made any sense.

What? the speech in ROTF at the end makes perfect sense. And I agree, everything was McDope n all. But the forest fight is still my favorite as well. Then everything in DOTM. But I will prob change my mind once I buy the Blu-ray.

yeah freeway battle =dope, but could have been longer. Forest battle is dopeMcMothaFuckinNasty and remaind awesome in many ways. But DOTM had some epic shit
