Default Simply the biggest action film ever, no contest

Just seen it at the London IMAX. There were moments when I was simply in awe or just saying "jesus!" at what was happening. That entire sequence with the collapsing building is without doubt the greatest action sequence Bay has put on film.

I'm glad the goofy humour was dialed back, though there was still a bit too much in the first hour. That aside, this is the biggest and most spectacular action film ever. Not necessarily the best but definitely the most visually astonishing.

*spoilers" Also the soulless movie ever made. Nothing in it made me care for the life of anybody. Maybe when bee had a gun behind him but I knew they were not gonna kill Bee without people lynching Michael Bay or something. At least in ROTF I felt hurt when Optimus "died" in the forest but is a shame that Ironhide got killed and nobody on screen really cared. Chicago citizens dying and it was not painful to watch. There were also no epic prolonged battles between our heroes and the decepticons like on the first and second movie.

ehh i disagree. this definetely was the best transformers film yet. i was a big fan of the other two, but this movie had a completely different feel to it, YET it was still the best one. I liked this movie the most, for sure. It's actually my favorite movie, not just in the transformers series, but my favorite movie ever. im going to see it again pretty soon...

Completely agree with the thread title.
I spent most of the movie with a WTF look on my face.

Then entire point of TF movies (at least the Bay ones) is to kick you in the face with nonstop action.
That fact seems to have escaped the more mentally challenged among us.

I agree. IMHO it did feel soulless but the epic action sequences made up for a great entertaining film.

The action was awesome, obviously, but that's not the only
reason why i liked this movie, or any other transformer movie...
There's something cool and different about all these films..

Quentin Tarantino once said that action films are the purest form of cinema.

    couldn't agree more.

Kind of disturbing and rather funny to see Nelson have an overreaction to someone that has a personal opinion that does not reflect his own or the rest of the masses. I would say those who had more negative issues with the movie equal 5-6% of the total people here. It's no big deal man. I would say it's scarier to see dozens of posts that are cloned versions of themselves than an honest opinion.

    Indeed.
I watched it last night and to me it's made history in special effects film making. It left me dehydrated and numb. Thanks

    The movie was best out of all of them no question, but I to felt a bit...jipped I was looking forward to Shockwave Vs Optimus, it lasted two seconds, I wanted to murder Sentinel for what he did to Ironhide. I wore my Ironhide shirt to the movie and this one guy pointed at my shirt and said "You got screwed!" I still wibble for 'Hide. But I try my best to ignore the fact he was murdered. I try to pretend that he's just laid up in Medical bay waiting for Ratchet to get his aft end back and fix him.. and grump about how he missed the most epic battle of the century. Lennox will tease him about being old.. and they'll get into a friendly banter match...Wish Dino died instead, fancy and red means you live the black guy always dies. ;__;

as an ironhide fan i'm HAPPY that I felt SAD and full of hate for sentinel whe he killed him.

Isn't that what you want from a movie? To make you feel strong emotions.

Did you see "Game of thrones"? how much hate do you feel for that stupid Kid??
    GAME OF THRONES SPOILER:

for killing Ned. It sucks that he died, but it's great when the writer is abble to get this emotions from you.

I am not a Transformers fanboy. I never watched the animated series, have never even held one of the toys, comics or novelizations.

When Bee was about to be killed, I teared up.

    Over a freaking robot.

Yep, soulless movie alright; last time I teared up over a robot was when I saw Silent Running.

(Seriously, if you want to see a soulless film, see Cars 2 - there was absolutely zero heart-wrenching magic in that one aside from the brief scene paying tribute to Doc Hudson; there was more emotion in the Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation short that preceded the film.)

I teared up at some scenes. No, it is not soulless.

Bay was able to make scenes connected with the audiences. I don't see any problem crying on certain scenes. So be nice...

    You really are pushing it.

If you don't want to be banned, show some respect and stop acting like a child on these boards. It's really annoying and you can be sure, Nelson will not tolerate this kind of behavior.
