Although Bay's TFs are very entertaining and fun to watch, I would like to see a reboot sometime in the future. Would like to see a different approach to this movie, preferably something a bit darker and more serious with no humor, with a very down right gritty script.
    Just my opinion...

How about a "no reboot and nag Mr. Bay to continue"?

I would say leave it as it is. My favorite main villians are death. What better main Villian can there be, besides Megs, Starscream and Soundwave?

If they continue it, fine. But i have to agree with some other members. It need a good director then.

Reboot? already?! Let there fly a few years over (and i don't mean 5 -10 years) and then We'll see if someone is good enough to reboot great movies as these.

I know many will not like what I'm about to post, but I think it should be rebooted.

    And here's my reasion.

For most sequal movies out there the quality of the films begin to degrade after the third film, with the exception of a rare few (This probably has to do with writers running out of ideas). Look at the Pirates of the Caribbean films. The forth installment wasn't anywhere near as epic as the third film. A series of trilogies (one rebooted after the other) would keep it fresh.

Right now No reboot. Let's continue with the remaining characters lead by close to 44%, followed by No reboot. Let's leave it at this with 33%.
As I wrote in my first post: For most people, Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream and Soundwave are the Decepticons.
So what KNOWN Decepticons are there left, that we who saw the Transformers cartoons in the 80's would know?
Many have mentioned Galvatron who's a recreated Megatron if I'm right.
But who else is there left who could stand against the Autobots and continue the war?

yeah, let's keep it to the original story. Yeah, megatron
and the rest of the dcons are gone, but at this point, i wouldnt
care if they didnt return. i just want the same storyline to continue!
i want the same autobots! i want the same human characters to return..
The movie ended quickly and it was sad to leave, even though the movie
    was really good.

    Why yes?

    - Beacause all the cool bad guys that the fans can relate are now gone LUV u STARSCREAM
-Prime without megatron just isn't the same (even if he wasn't the main villain)

    Why not?

    - I love the designs, I got in love with BB the way he is.
    - I'm afraid they would change all that.

How could they reboot without damaging this things?

    I have a great Idea
But I won't share it with you

    Hope not!!!
G1 simplistic designs look really stupid in a live action movie!!

I would also like to see something like that.

Next time instead of a summer movie, maybe around winter solstice or November.

One of the things I'm afraid in a Reboot is that they might abuse the 3D, and ruin the real sense that I get from the movie.

Going to see DOTM today again LOVE THIS MOVIE!! going with a friend that hasn't seen it!! He still believes shockwave is the main villain
Oh... and his favorite autobot is ironhide :lmao

A reboot would be dumb. I don't care if the new creators
of the reboot claim "it will be better" and blah blah.
I want the same characters to return!!! If not a transformers 4,
then this should be the last one. A reboot wouldnt be worth
    watching, for me.

There are plenty of other TF villains they can use in the 4th movie.
Personally, I'd like to see more time spent on Cybertron.
this exactly^ i mean the reapers, sixshot, darkwing, Thunderwing (ofcourse) predacons and the often hated Unicron, not to mention Cyclonus, Scourge, Galvatron, Overlord i mean i could go on for days with good bad guys. the best in my eyes would be Nemesis Prime. as for the actors not wanting to come back oh well they aren't the reason many go anyway. plenty of other actors who would jump at the chance to be in a blockbuster like these have been.

how can the same one continue?? without megatron, starscream, soundwave, shockwave etc?? these are the main dudes. galvatron sucks man.. also they cant be doing shit like ghost of starscream etc.. that shit would never work, would just end up looking lame and corny. g1 looking bots would look bullshit in a live action movie.
transformers looked amazing in war for cybertron.. hope to see looks a little similar to that. or something similar to what they look like in transformers prime.

    If there's a sequel may till 2013
What if cybertron didn't explode maybe it just got sucked in a space whole like in transformers prime and it went back to where it was and while it was being pulled by the space bridge it some how gave life to whatever lived there that remain..Unicron possibly
What happen to the decepticons all over the world
    What are the next villains
What about the ark or nemesis who's up there in them

No reboot. Let's continue the story with the remaining characters and a new director.

never liked the whole concept of rebooting, regardless of the subject or the film.

    i don't get reboots. it's copy-catting.
it's not original. it's just not the same and no
matter how good the reboot is, it will never be 100
percent great because it's not the original!

i hope that there's a fourth one with ALL of the same characters. Yeah, some fans will
be mad if it's without megatron and starscream, BUT i'm sure there's other ways to go with the movie.

    .
So are you saying batman begins and The Dark knight is not as good as BAtman: Forever and Batman and Robin becuase chris nolans film are not the originals?? You are kind of jumping to conclusion arent ya? A transformers reboot/remake could either be better or could be crap. The transformers live action movie technically isnt 'original'. Its based ofs a cartoon and a previous cartoon movie back in the 80s.

I for one have an open mind, and dont mind if its a continuation of the current TF movies or if its a reboot/remake.

I find it odd that (at least) 18 so-called TF fans don't want any more movies. :head

If you don't like it, don't watch it.
Go see those insipid vampire & wizard movies.

    Reboot it.

After Dark of the Moon, you can't go any further with the movies. With pretty much all of the iconic Decepticons dead, the universe is pretty much saved. The movieverse will just start to get stale if more movies are made after this. On Stranger Tides anyone?

But a reboot will have to wait a few years. What can Hasbro do now? They should put their focus on cartoon series such as Transformers: Prime which is already a fantastic show IMO.
