Looking at the Dreads really makes me sad that we didn't see more of them in alt mode and robot form. Absolutely great characters. Love the cars and the robot design too. Waiting for some CG now.

In a perfect world it would have been great to see the twins busting up a back alley weapons deal in robot mode. I mean like no more than 15 seconds...just enough to show the audience they were matured. Like saying something to the effect of..."not on our watch terrorists"

We then see them in the hangar convoy...only vehicle modes.

Then when...well if you haven't seen it...don't continue reading...




all hell breaks loose with SP we see a long shot of the destruction and you see robot/vehicle parts belonging to those two under the rubble...that way the audience gets to have true closure on the twins.

The Twins were meant to be killed together with Ironhide by Sentinel. I believe this is also in the novel. Also you can see this in these videos. The Autobots who took the right road (Sentinel, Ironhide, The Twins and Bumblebee) were engaged in the combat in which only Bumblebee managed to escape. The Autobots who took the left road survived (Optimus, Sideswipe, Dino).

I understand the decision if it was made because of backlash from RotF but...the last time we ever saw them they had a hand in saving Leo & Simmons and MudFlap survived the jaws of DEVASTATOR...that's epic!!

I guess they decided to remove them especially for the sake of time. I'm glad they're gone, it would have been too much.

I wanted that one in particular to appear somewhere but the score was great regardless.

Here's my theory on the twins being cut....

*SPOILERS* I don't think it was because of the backlash from ROTF or because of time, I think it was because a decision was made to have Ironhide die alone to make his death have more impact. And since the twins were meant to die with him, they just decided to cut them out completely because they probably didn't have an vital roles in the movie anyway. *END SPOILERS*

I too would have loved to have seen them in the movie since I liked them, but if cutting them was needed to help the movie, then I can live with that.
