I don't know what happens in your countries...

but in Portugal, a lot of people see the movie "for free".

Every time I buy a ticket I get one for free in the next session I purchase a ticket.

This means, I can go every day of the week and pay only once. I just have to find diferent friend to go with each day.

He pays his ticket and I get the free


When TF1 and TF2 came out, those extra tickets weren't usable for those movies, paramout didn't allow it.

So My guess is that at least here in Portugal, DOTM will make almost half of ROTF because of that.

Wednesday: 10M

Friday: 15M

For now continues to match the War of the Worlds pattern. If it doesn't change, it would mean around 330 millons in the US Box Office.

By the way there is no way that DOTM will make $200M in Japan. ROTF earned $23M there, which is surprisingly low. For example POTC 4 scored a massive $100M in Japan. Also ROTF earned $65M in China so I think that DOTM can score maximum $150M in the two countries combined.
