And, of course fans won't want a reboot or more movies. More movies are absurd, because the whole story is closed, and rebooting good sagas is 100% lame.

LOTR fans also don't want reboots or more LOTR movies, and that doesn't means it hasn't a brutally big fan base.

Like it or not, Harry Potter is now a big part in the history of cinema and a really important part of the history of modern literature. As good or bad the movies/books may be, their impact cannot be denied.
    sure they can by me

Please Re-release in Imax 3D whenever possible. It is the only way to see this movie. I will see it at least 3 more times in Imax if you do. And I'm sure others will too.

Obviously people will disagree about movies...just read any message board dedicated to them.
TF3 is the best movie to come out in a long while...maybe years...but that's my opinion.

All I'll add is, as long as it's out there showing in 3D...go see it in that format.

I'm up to 24 times that I've seen it and have gone between 2D & 3D showings. Wow...no comparison. The budget is feeling it now...but, man, we wont be able to buy it in DVD in 3D, so need to overdose on it now while it's on the big screen yet!

I'm in luck here...theatre I go to still is showing multiple 2D & 3D showings into next week yet. It should play here in 2D on screens for quite awhile yet as they still have "Pirates 4" showing(yeesh!!!)

Thanks, Michael, for T3 in great 3D!!!!

    agreed.

I would also love to see this movie again in imax 3d, but they don't show the movie anymore in imax 3d, they showed it for about 1,5 weeks, which is not enough. - RoTF had a longer "imax-time" than dotm.

lol is this thread now turning into a HP vs Captain America war? You seem very obsessed with how bad HP do in the BO.

Hello DK how are you ? No this thread will not change to HP VS CA . I want to point that Paramount release Captain America 1 week later to give TF3 the opportunity to go higher and slow down HP Domestically ONLY ! TF3 had 2 weeks in a row so we will wait and see if this turn out to be as the previous HP or better And i mean domestically . Do not forget China today and Japan the next week

Hmm so you don't think fans want more movies? Why do you think the Transformers franchise have existed for 27 years?? Definately NOT because fans didn't want it to. So I will say that your statement is invalid, because if it wasn't for fans, there would have been no movies. There is still a lot of money in the Transformers brand.

I was talking about Harry Potter, where there's no more story to go on, and rebooting the saga would be absolutely lame. The fact that fans want or don't want more movies doesn't make the fan base less loyal or anything. That was my point.

Rebooting Transformers now would be crap. More or less the same as the Spiderman reboot.

A new trilogy will not be a reality before 2013. And it will most likely be a remake not a reboot. And it will most likely not be Bay directing either.

Do not argue for this people ! Yes ! TF4 will be the continuation with the Future Transformers ... i don't know for a total reboot but certainly not a remake . A remake DK will be an insult for Mr.Bay ! Yes Michael Bay will not direct but he will be behind the scenes and more of it i believe TFs are his baby :P
TF4 for 2013 or 2014 will be very very good move and re-introduce Unicron , Galvatron and the ...staff or stuff

if there is to be a reboot in 2013 or 2014, they would need to start now with preproduction, and since DOTM has been out for 4 weeks, I doubt it's happening any time soon. The problem with doing it so soon is that people will want it like it is now, not rebooted with new direction. As much as I want a continuation of Transformers live action movies, I don't want one any time soon. The thing abotu the 2007 movie was that I had no idea they were making it when I found the teaser on line and I was got extremely excited. This is how I want the next installation to happen. Almost let the alure of the first trilogy fade, and then start the next installment. I think Mr. Bay did an awesome job with the first three films, but let's let it ride it out.

Now total box office as of this morning is Worldwide Gross: $771,239,379
