BOM have already updated the Monday numbers from the foreign markets. Now the only numbers to add is the USA gross for Monday which should be around $1.5 million so the movie won't reach billion today. We have to wait another day before we open the champagne.

Well said! I cant wait! I just came back from watching it for the 3rd time! Thought I would help out by trying to reach the 1 Billion!!! HAHA! Almost there, and based on the number of people I saw in the theatre tonight, there is no way it wont make it! I was very pleased to see how many people are still coming to watch TF3! Once again, Michael Bay and Co have proved every critic and nay-sayer wrong! M.B, you ROCK, TF3 ROCKS!!! GO GO GO!!!

It's going to be a monumental event, not so much for the fans (no disrespect intended) but more so for everyone involved in the movie making process, 5 + years in the making, 3 movies later and all that blood, sweat and tears have finally paid off.

If this really is Bay's last TF movie then it is the perfect way for him to bow out. Congratulations once again Mr Bay, Mr Spielberg, Digital Domain, ILM and everyone else involved in the entire process.

I think it's an incredible achievment on Michael Bay and co's part. I bet Hasbro never thought in there wildest dreams back in the 80's when the first toy came of the production line that 40 odd years later a movie would make 1 BILLION!! Quite a statement to be proud of.

And as for this PSofosNextGen he is starting to creep me out. If Dark Of The Moon is a failure because Potter has beaten it then he needs to get a grip of reality. In the words of Starscream from the 80's toon he is quite simply "a microchipped moron".
