This is indeed a great result. I'm sure that the foreign gross is without Japan which means that the movie is practically over 1 billion now. Congratulations Michael and all the TF crew you deserved that milestone. Also the great run that HP has really doesn't spoil the huge accomplishment that DOTM did. DOTM will surely be in the top 5 in the worldwide gross of all time at the end of August. Outstanding!

Yes ! They both will top the 5's . Great historical achievement for Transformers topped every single Sci-Fi movie in history A RECORD MILESTONE ! [ except Avatar Never mind , Avatar had no competition but TFs have the greatest with the other 2 great historical blockbusters HP8 & POTC4 ] The real competition beyond this titan points is only domestically I believe like you that TF3 will keep it's crown for 2011 with 10 million or so .... and with Albershide that in the gross excluding Japan as of now Great cinema times !!!

It's kinda obvious... I know it hasn't made over 1 billion yet but im sure japan isn't added in there yet... by tomorrow I think it will go over 1 billion if not 999 million

The site is a bit misleading. I don't think when there is n/a it necessarily means that they don't have any data from that location. If you sum up all the numbers from the foreign box office you'll get the number $ 533641049 not $ 645000000 as they state in the site. So obviously they haven't updated many things and it's a mystery which movie is the first to reach $1 billion. They can say this after a few months when all the data from all parts of the world will be gathered.
