    I don't think that $35m is a 'little' behind TF2.
That's a pretty substantial amount...and the gap continues to grow.

    Fucking Potter isn't helping any.

If there's one thing Transformers beat Harry Potter at, it's the 3d...

lord that 3d is terrible... some good shots yes, but just no comparison to the 3d found in avatar and transformers.

I saw the last HP yesterday . Great movie but after so many years HP fans deserves a much more better ending an epic ending . This was not absolutely not epic ending for Mr. Potter ! ... The end was the cheapest in any franchise ! Great movie , cheap finale , awful 3D TF3 will will domestically in my opinion and at least domestically ! I speak not as fan of TF but honestly without any influence !

In addition to this Harry Potter will loose a much more amount of money from Captain America giving more time to TF3 This time Paramount thought about all

All I'm going to say, I totally avoided the movie theaters like the plague this weekend. On Thursday night, all of the news showed the massive lines of the Potheads waiting for the midnight premiere.

Last night, I go down town for club hopping, and there is a pretty big theater down there, and all of the black hats walking around was crazy.

With that aside, I am ecstatic with DOTM's performance overseas. I'm excited, because it hopefully means that Paramount will throw a bigger budget at future movies so we can get some more Transformers on screen!

I think the big deal breaker will be next week, when Captain America opens up, Transformers will be competing against another Paramount flick in more or less in the same genre.

I agree with you lol. I avoided the theatres as well. No offense to some of ya, but I cannot stand those potter movies. I was pissed cause they took tf3 down from the imax for that.
Oh well, ill watch it again in dallas next weekend.

Ummmm....this is a Michael Bay Website...not a Transformers website.... but, since you asked...I do consider myself a Transformers fan.... loyal to what??? I have seen TF3 twice to Potter one time. I will own both when they are released on dvd... As for which movie do I prefer???? Potter had me more drawn in emotionally. I would give the edge to Potter as a whole...TF3 had waybetter visuals, but Potter has way better story.... I thought TF3 could have been a little shorter..Potter should have been longer IMO...

....now back to the main part of this thread... Potter passes up TF3 by its third weekend..no shame....TF3 should finish in the 340mil range and that aint to shabby for a third film....
