I think the overseas will make more then that this week probably close to 700 million worldwide.
Fridays estimates up at BoxOfficeMojo have DOTM with $14.92m.
Transform and...make a BILLION DOLLARS!
One shall stand one shall fall
Yeah, I think TF3 is on course to make $1billion. It's made $525 million worldwide in just 10 days! It hasn't been in theaters even a month and it's made over half a billion.
BRING THE RAIN
For DOTM to at least be one of the small list of movies to reach $1 Billion it has to beat:
The Dark Knight: $1,001,921,825
Transformers 4 - Summer 2014
Would be great if TF3 broke a 1B mark. Truly extraordinary. But even if it makes 500, 600, 700 million..--- theres most likely a sequel or a re-vamp to follow. But box office looks like its going to be incredible.
saw it for a second time last night and the theater was packed....last weekend when I saw it the auditorium was about half full, last night it was packed. The theater had two real2 auditoriums, an IMAX 3d, and two 2d. The 5:15 show was the one I was at in 2d. when we got out the line for the 9:15 showing was out the door. At least by me it is still going strong. I checked all of the 3d shows, and they were sold out completely for yesterday, so I got stuck seeing it in 2d again. Still great to watch and I saw so many other things I missed the first time
"Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing." Optimus Prime
If in 3rd weekend still strong well i don't know .... 1 billion is the base but i am worried about domestically ....I want to top Potter whatever it takes !!! Only then it will be kibng of the year ata box office and it deserves taht at last as i said millions of times before ! It's pity for TF3 do not achieved that ! Bay,Cameron,Spielberg so much advertisment in Europe .... for a god sake if something goes wrong and lost from Potter
Saw it for the second time last night and the salon was packed.
It's one of the biggest in Sweden. 417 seats. Real 3D. There is no IMAX in Sweden.
Only problem is that TF3 will get kicked out of that salon on Wednesday when Harry Potthead premieres and it will get moved to a smaller salon that only has 98 seats!
Just noticed that boxofficemojo still hasn't added the Italian data
Si vis pacem para bellum...
BOM weekend estimates:
Wknd total: $47m (51% drop from last week)
Transform and...make a BILLION DOLLARS!
I expected much and much more $$$ IMHO what are people doing these days? =/ getting a tan 24/7 ?? =/
When i Transform i release rockets with nanobot-viruses that destroys you from within... the fuel inside you will turn into acid, metal will melt instantly...

[QUOTE=Albershide;188791]The movie is now the fastest in history to pass the $500 million mark in worldwide box office sales by reaching that point in nine days!!!
Worldwide $558,084,874 so far so ...frakin good
Without foreign this weekend's total of course X) Over $600M+ expected soon enough In 10 or 11 days ????? X)
Domestic attendance is down....less people are seeing this than ROTF...the only difference is that this film costs about $2.50 more per ticket on average to see due to the 3D...
$261mil in 12 days is great numbers for this film...it gets to stay in first thru Thursdsay...it wil probably be around the 282-287mil range before this weekend...
this weekend: DOTM $23million yes!! it crosses 300 million... POTTER: $150 million- I think Potter will destroy the worldwide record for opening weekend... Potter will pass DOTM domestically by the end of its third weekend...
Ironhide kills Barricade!!!
Okay, DOTM is kicking some serious ass now.
"The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they're genuine." - Abraham Lincoln
International - $384m
Domestic - $261m
Total - $645m
The movie looks like it will pass the second movie (ROTF) in worldwide gross but possibly fall short of $1 billion. Still a great feat!
On top of that, one has to wonder how to measure the true dollar value of such a third installment. You'd need to add Transformers toy sales, which likely increased (think of Darthrage's thread on that topic), as well as DVD sales for the first and second parts. In short, box office figures may not accurately reflect the likely "Jordan Effect" that this movie has had for the brand.
