Thursday - $21.4M
Friday - $33.5M

Total for 4 days - $98M

For comparison Avatar made $93M for the same period.

I heavily agree with you . The earning money steps until now are just as Avatar and a little slightly better This is a very big thing and if the numbers are big 2 weeks from now on TF3 will be huge again and shut the mouth for many hatters worldwide I hope so....But one way or another TF4 will happen , and will be bigger than all of them together UNICRON ? :0 !!

Not quite. A remake is when you take an old movie and make a new one from it, a reboot is to make something new from old stuff if you get what I mean. Transformers have been rebooted a lot of times.

The-Numbers.com says 32,8 Millions on Friday, which makes 97,5 Millions so far in the US Box Office.

Also 32,8 millions is 53% more than thursday, which tells us that the movie is not following the same BO evolution as ROTF (it was +26%) or the first Transformers.

This is pretty amazing as i expected ! Only 20-30 millions behind ROTF domestically !!! After the mediocre critics Transformers are still strong enough

That will reminds to the critics that Transformers are the beloved once and whatever they said from their bad mouth Transformers will still there to amazing us and closing their mouths always from the bads ... So i still believe min. $350 domestically at the end and many more than ROTF worldwide ... Always the time is critic and everything is in liquid state but i hope eventually TFs will success again

Michael Bay might waited longer to made ROTF after the writer's strike ends . This was a terrible mistake but he is a honorable man ! Made the unbelievable to corrected this and i might think he will accomplished his mission better than many thinking !

Anyway, sorry to confuse you. I have the outmost respect for those who created these movies. I am a creative person and I know how challenging it is to create mammoth projects like these movies.

But...there is a way for a person to share his opinions. Going from thread to thread and repeating pretty much the same thing ( "the humor sucked, the mom sucked" and so on ) is definitely not the right way. Personally, I have no problem with people who don't like some of the stuff in these films, but to constantly repeat on different threads all these things, that's just not right.

Example - I really liked Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey in "Dark of the Moon", and I think they stole the show from the other actors. Does that mean that I should go on multiple threads here, and start posting how awesome they were in the movie?

No, of course not. It's enough for me to post it on one thread and I'm done. Same thing with the stuff I didn't like in the movie.

I don't see why I should rub all of that in other people's faces. I'll post it in one thread and I'm ready for a different discussion. It's that simple.

Again, there's nothing wrong with you sharing your views. Just try to reach a balance - focus on both the good stuff and the bad stuff. Being all negative is just not right.
