I'm for sure going to the 9:00pm showing. Already have my ticket. Hopefully this day at work will fly by, I'm not too optimistic about that happening.

Do you think it will be hard to get a good seat? The 9PM show will only be available at 1 auditorium. They will be showing Cars 2 right before and then clean up and open up for seating at 8:30pm. Most theaters I called are only showing the 9PM on one screen. What should I do? Is not like midnight where everybody is there for that one movie.

Evening/weekend shows are almost always crowded. Just be sure to get there extra early for parking & seating. The wait will be worth it I'm certain!

I'd say just show up a min. of one hour early. Most theaters will start a line, especially if it's a movie that's expecting to be sold out. And if there isn't a line, make sure if a lot of people start showing up for that showing that you get an employee to start one so you can guarentee yourself a good seat.

Show up two hours early and bring a book.

I guess something I am hoping for in my area is that the movie will be showing at two movie chains at 9PM and they are less than 10 miles apart. So hopefully more people will go to the other movie chain that is cheaper. lol.

Movie starts in 15 minutes. Getting crowded but plenty of seats left. Normal crowd. Haven't seen evidence of any hardcore fans. Not even a single Transformers t-shirt wearing person so far. There is a guy with a Batman tshirt :wtf

Just drove past my local IMAX theater and there's a whole line of people!!! It goes all the way outside!! Obviously it's for Cars 2 right? Jk, there's a good 80+ people in there!

Yeah my theater filled up completely, it was pretty sweet. And they even cheered and clapped a lot. It was mega-fun.

Just got back from the 9:00 PM IMAX showing. AMAZING!!!! SIMPLY INCREDIBLE! Thank you Mr. Bay for an incredible ride! I can't wait to see it again!

Yes! I cant wait to see the box office numbers. The 9 show was packed, and when we were walking back out, the lobby was packed shoulder to shoulder. I love the energy in the theatres when these movies come out.
