DO u guys know of any "REAL" IMAX theaters in Manhattan where i can see DOTM....reason i ask is because I'll be going to see this at new roc city in new rochelle but i dont know if the Imax there is real or not..and i dont know if they are cheap on their lighting....So anyone that lives in NYC, where is the best theater to see this?

It has the largest screen, i remember watching Spiderman 3 in there and the screen is bigger then the AMC o 42nd st the Loews on 34th st is also pretty big but all these place sells out quick when it comes to big movies I know from experience you would have to get your tickets in the morning my friend will be getting our ticket in advance and if you cant get there early buy them online as soon as they go on sale.

my friend just told me the one on 42nd street is real 3d too but i cant remember i pass by there on the way to work so I will check

I bought tickets to the IMAX in Orlando. There are two, I'm speaking about the real larger sized IMAX close to the amusement parks. Can anyone tell me if this presentation will be dim or darker than the RealD 3D screenings?

I'm having doubts going to my (so called one of the biggest theatres in the world) cinema.. =/ because they have the Dolby 3D technology =/ this sucks =/ i want teh best 3D experience and i have to go to a small theatre to see it in RealD 3D and i hate it there =/

will transformers 3 come out in all imax theatres? or does it depend on the theatre? there is an imax theatre close to my city but it doesnt seem like it will come to that imax theatre. i searched on the web and didnt find anything. please if anyone can answer this, i will greatly appreciate it. if it doesnt come out in this theatre, i will have to wait till july 12 and thats a long time!!!!

btw the theatre i am talking about is in India, Gujarat, Ahmedabad.

My theatre is 'stuck' with Cars 2 for two weeks (Disney has some policy or something). So in my case, I won't get DOTM in IMAX until July 9th.

Can someone Tell me The differance please? I have heard there's like 3-4 differant types of 3D and I dont understand! Is it something to do with sound, Picture, brightness, the actual screen itself...? Thanks in advance!

i believe imax is a bigger screen, where regular screens dont show all of the film, apparently it cuts off the top and bottom i normal cinema screens..

IMAX 3D IMHO displays better 3D quality than RealD 3D. Also, the screen is much much bigger and the sounds is a lot louder and clearer.

Well I just went to our local Imax and they told me they weren't showing it in imax, just regular 3d. So I bought 3d tickets for the 8:45 show tomorow. I can't wait!
I'm going to dallas in a couple weeks anyways so ill be sure to check out their imax there.
