But, what is so great about the Dark Knight. Someone please tell me. It had corny stuff and crap that derailed the main plot. What was the point of getting the guy from Hong Kong? What was the point about the accountant and the blackmail crap. People cry on how it's unrealistic that these gorgeous women want to get with dorky little Sam, but it's not unrealistic for two wealthy gorgeous men to be fighting over some lame duck in the Dark Knight. Ok, whatever hypocrites!

I don't think it's unrealistic either, just go down town and you'll see it, ordinary looking men walking around with some very pretty girls. Most of them are actually sugar daddies, but, I find it more realistic that women fight over the man than men fighting over a woman. Only time I see men fighting over a woman, it's because she has moolah!

I'm 32 years old, have 2 kids and a wife ( not bragging :P ) but I was giggling like a little girl while reading that. Omg let the movie be THAT good!

33 years old, also have a family (not bragging either) I still feel the same anticipation as anyone on this forum. A lot of us on here seem to be of the older generation, with different lives and professions but we all love this... thing called "Transformers" and we all enjoy Bays movies.
And I for one, am sure Bay outdid himself this time. This movie WILL be his masterpiece.
I will sadly not be able to see it at the premiere, but I will as soon as I can though... in a few days.

Bay and Nolan just a different doctor,different specialist,very very different,i don't care what they say anyway,every time i will watch transformers movie at the cinema, it just like first date to me,sooo beautiful feeling..even i couldn't sleep the night before the day..

TDK had one exelent thing... the joker... all the rest was just good, not exelent.

I love TDK and Transformers, but they are two different things that should never be compared. At all. Period.

Transformers should be compared to like, The Terminator, Independence Day, District 9 maybe and other extraterrestrial themed stuff like that. TDK is more of a comic book hero.

But even then, Terminator 2>than TDK could ever imagine to be. Hell, Tim Burton's Batman is better than TDK, it's what started the more serious approach to kiddie fodder, right?

Fu@# the critics. Here's my review: Michael Bay has made a never before seen visual spectacle. I just don't understand how he comes up with so many outstanding sequences. I won't say more till the official thread. Tomorrow I'm watching it again.

Just wanted to add this - Congratulations Rosie. I was very sceptical about her acting skills but she surpassed my expectations by far. Not an Oscar nominee but an impressive performance for a beginner. All the critics who say otherwise are morons.

An improvement on Transformers 2, but then what isn’t? To paraphrase the Bard, it’s a tale, full of sound and fury and extremely stupid dialogue and nonsensical plotting and preposterous stunts and robots punching each other’s heads off, signifying nothing. Needless to say, it’s going to be huge.

Well it was as good as I thought. I'm sure that the movie will grow even more on me in the next days. For example I was little disappointed with ROTF after I've seen it for the first time, but after seeing it many times now I really love it. I felt much greater with DOTM. My rating is 9 out of 10. I'll later explain why.
But still the magic of the first movie can never be surpassed. At least for me. Maybe that's because I didn't know almost anything about it when I saw it, I don't know...

It's pretty apparent some critics (a majority of them) have something against fun popcorn movies directed by Michael Bay. Doesn't matter what he does, these people will ALWAYS hate him for it.
