to me it looks like they going in panic mode... all those OP & Bee posters and trailers wern't getting the hype they wanted... so they push the movie forward by a couple of days.. put out a tv spot everyday that has big spoilers.. and now talk bout fox being fired just a few days before the movie.. cause all this gets ppl talking. its all publicity.. some women aside, ppl were crazy bout her, i remember in the tf2 blu ray, all the paparazzi were shouting mostly her name, all wanted to see what dress she was wearing.. guess we will find out soon enough if rosie can create that buzz..

If michael bay didn't care for her so called "natzi" comment i don't see why steven spielberg should care regardless.
Maybe because he's the freaking boss and has a personal connection to the Holocaust? I mind-boggling that you imply that Megan is a professional and Steven Spielberg unprofessional. So, which way is up?

BTW, the article is on target.

NO one, and i mean NO ONE, bad mouthed Megan even after she insulted King Abdullah II of Jordan & Queen Rania's by refusing to attend a Royal dinner that was made in her honor while filming in Jordan.

Any other director would've gone Old Testament on her.

Well said Nelson. Agree a lot, even if I don't like Megan.

Now that you're here, careful. Everyone's been begging for the HD spots, incluiding me

Actually I just want the score and a HD version of the IMAX poster.

okay, agreed. good reason for being fired. but why way after everything was said and done?? why was she confirmed as coming back for tf3, and was on set with bumblebee before filming started.. and fired only after that? and why is all this info coming out only now? after soo many months of silence..

I never intended to say what she said was right even if thats the truth, i'm saying no matter what personal involvement he has with the holocaust i just think it's not proffesional to to act on personal feelings when it comes to a working enviroment.

    Wait...hold on a sec...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    What?

Spielberg unprofessional? Compared to someone like Megan who apparently has a bad case of "Chronic Backstabbing Syndrome?"

IMHO, Spielberg made the right move, maybe even a proactive one. Imagine if the Hitler comment was only the beginning.

    Boom!!!!!!11
Holy moly. So it's true. No wonder why she didn't have the best roles ever since ...
And I thought it was all some baiting for hits/visits on the respective sites, if at all.

Now that you posted that new tidbit, Nelson, she is either going into the ground by reposting articles or going to respond. :/
Wasn't really looking forward to a second 2009 (the year of Megan Fox) on imdb.com and alike ...

(total support for the firing, btw)

You mean to tell me that she turned down a Royal dinner in her honor? That's not just B.S is it? Seriously, she really did that? I'm trying to contain the insults I want to write down because I want to keep this PG for all the younger members here. This would've seriously
aided her acting career, I mean how many actors and actresses get that opportunity? None that I can think off right now. What was she thinking? Was she even thinking?

I have to agree, I saw her in Jennifer's body and through most of it she acted bored. Granted she's no Jodie Foster or Sigourney Weaver but she's not as bad as Brigitte Nielsen. Anyone who watched Red Sonja(1985) or the Nolstalga Critc's review of Red Sonja will know who I'm talking about.

Sometimes an actor or Actress require certain directors to get their best performances out of them. From what I've seen her best performances where in Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. And we all know who directed those movies.

For me it looks just like she doesn't fit in the Big movies world. She is not happy with it, and she doesn't look the kind of person who is super professional and gets the job done whatever happens.

We don't know even a 10% of the real story, and sure it was just the last thing to happend (no one, not even Spielberg, fires a lead actress for a statement, doesn't matter how bad is it), but really don't see the point of being angry (for us, not for the people involved). She is out, which probably was a good thing, but I don't see her as someone to hate.

I rarely post on these types of things but there are a few golden rules in the film industry and one of the biggest is KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

People who do not work in film / t.v. / commercials etc. etc. really don't understand why she got the ax because it's an industry that people THINK they understand but in reality don't get it until you work in it.

Today's lesson: no matter what you do for a living, whether it's flipping burgers at Micky D's or starring in a Hollywood action blockbuster, talking shit about your boss in public will get you fired.

maybe she was fired. cause due to budget restraints they couldnt afford to cgi her thumb and the robots as well. they had to choose.

The novel itself explains that Mikaela dumped Sam. Yep, after all they wrote about characters as a couple in love.. continuity is gone. Period.
Having Mikaela being killed by Decepticons at least would have given heartbroken Sam a damn acceptable reason for finding a new girlfriend after a few years. But no.. they went for some dumb silly joke path explanation that just looks and is some real bad writing worse than that on soaps. A real disappointment indeed
i agree they spent so much time on that love story(which could have been time dedicated to transformer dialogue) and it will be "ooh well she dumped him." seriously?!?!? lame

It isn't lame. Sam's supposed to be an everyman type of character. The majority of guys have been caught up and lost someone they loved a great deal, and likely didn't want to lose. The concept is simple and yet mirrors life in a nearly perfect manner.

I actually thought that "Mikaela dumps Sam" would be the outcome literally at the moment it was revealed Fox was fired; it just made perfect sense. Simple, effective, and realistic.
