I don't know if this is true and I really don't care, but still an interesting read.

I don't think that is true. If it is then it would have been in my opinion very unproffesional of steven spielberg to want to fire her because he has personal issues regarding hitler or natzi issues. If michael bay didn't care for her so called "natzi" comment i don't see why steven spielberg should care regardless.

i don't think its true. i dont think her being fired cause she was 2 skinny is true. cause rosie is thinner than fox. and why would this release 9 days before the movie?? part of me is still hopes she's in, even if its for 3min or whatever. i hope there is a decent reason why she isnt in the movie, and not "oh she was killed by a con" i still want to know what happened exactly. there is more to her being fired or quitting than they are telling us.

She is not in the movie.
The novel itself explains that Mikaela dumped Sam. Yep, after all they wrote about characters as a couple in love.. continuity is gone. Period.
Having Mikaela being killed by Decepticons at least would have given heartbroken Sam a damn acceptable reason for finding a new girlfriend after a few years. But no.. they went for some dumb silly joke path explanation that just looks and is some real bad writing worse than that on soaps. A real disappointment indeed

    1) Novel spoiler tags, you're doing it wrong.

i agree they spent so much time on that love story(which could have been time dedicated to transformer dialogue) and it will be "ooh well she dumped him." seriously?!?!? lame

It isn't lame. Sam's supposed to be an everyman type of character. The majority of guys have been caught up and lost someone they loved a great deal, and likely didn't want to lose. The concept is simple and yet mirrors life in a nearly perfect manner.

I actually thought that "Mikaela dumps Sam" would be the outcome literally at the moment it was revealed Fox was fired; it just made perfect sense. Simple, effective, and realistic.

Maybe because he is Jewish. But I don't think it is true either.

Well, whoever decided to fire her, what's done is done.
There was obviously a reason for it. We can guess
all we want, but we'll never know for sure until we hear
michael or megan explain what happened. All i know is
it wasn't her decision like megan is trying to make it look like.
she has a contract, she wouldn't be able to quit right then and there.
so she WAS, in fact fired.

Maybe because he's the freaking boss and has a personal connection to the Holocaust? I mind-boggling that you imply that Megan is a professional and Steven Spielberg unprofessional. So, which way is up?

BTW, the article is on target.

At the end of the day, your personal opinions should be kept to yourself.

NO one, and i mean NO ONE, bad mouthed Megan even after she insulted King Abdullah II of Jordan & Queen Rania's by refusing to attend a Royal dinner that was made in her honor while filming in Jordan.

Any other director would've gone Old Testament on her.

Respect is crucial in a film set. If there is no order and anyone could get away with saying anything, then what's the point?

Well said Nelson. Agree a lot, even if I don't like Megan.

Now that you're here, careful. Everyone's been begging for the HD spots, incluiding me

Actually I just want the score and a HD version of the IMAX poster.

okay, agreed. good reason for being fired. but why way after everything was said and done?? why was she confirmed as coming back for tf3, and was on set with bumblebee before filming started.. and fired only after that? and why is all this info coming out only now? after soo many months of silence..

I never intended to say what she said was right even if thats the truth, i'm saying no matter what personal involvement he has with the holocaust i just think it's not proffesional to to act on personal feelings when it comes to a working enviroment.

    Wait...hold on a sec...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    What?

Spielberg unprofessional? Compared to someone like Megan who apparently has a bad case of "Chronic Backstabbing Syndrome?"

IMHO, Spielberg made the right move, maybe even a proactive one. Imagine if the Hitler comment was only the beginning.

OMG..! Are you serious?! O_o i didn't know that (sorry still didn't read the whole thing, maybe tomorrow night if I'm not to tired) Are you freaking shitting me?! O_o
Wow! She has balls for doing that, very disrespectful towards the royals jeezz..us she's probably not welcome in their country like forever now.. =/ and how many people can say "yeah and I've been to a royal dinner last night, it was marvelous" ;D right?! ;D wtf is wrong with her.. oh man.. =/ poor Megan.. silly, silly silly girl.
If she was scared of being offered a lot of money to sleep with someone rich and maybe royal then she could just have said "No" and leave the premises with someone to back her up at all times, maybe she didnt like the rituals that they would prepare for her when she would have gone to the royal dinner because of that.
