Default Steven Spielberg fired Megan Fox from DOTM for Hitler jibe?

I don't know if this is true and I really don't care, but still an interesting read.

I don't think that is true. If it is then it would have been in my opinion very unproffesional of steven spielberg to want to fire her because he has personal issues regarding hitler or natzi issues. If michael bay didn't care for her so called "natzi" comment i don't see why steven spielberg should care regardless.

i don't think its true. i dont think her being fired cause she was 2 skinny is true. cause rosie is thinner than fox. and why would this release 9 days before the movie?? part of me is still hopes she's in, even if its for 3min or whatever. i hope there is a decent reason why she isnt in the movie, and not "oh she was killed by a con" i still want to know what happened exactly. there is more to her being fired or quitting than they are telling us.

She is not in the movie.
The novel itself explains that Mikaela dumped Sam. Yep, after all they wrote about characters as a couple in love.. continuity is gone. Period.
Having Mikaela being killed by Decepticons at least would have given heartbroken Sam a damn acceptable reason for finding a new girlfriend after a few years. But no.. they went for some dumb silly joke path explanation that just looks and is some real bad writing worse than that on soaps. A real disappointment indeed

    1) Novel spoiler tags, you're doing it wrong.

Maybe because he is Jewish. But I don't think it is true either.

Well, whoever decided to fire her, what's done is done.
There was obviously a reason for it. We can guess
all we want, but we'll never know for sure until we hear
michael or megan explain what happened. All i know is
it wasn't her decision like megan is trying to make it look like.
she has a contract, she wouldn't be able to quit right then and there.
so she WAS, in fact fired.

I have never been a fan of Fox before TF and certainly won't miss her. I think her acting is awful to say the truth. And she is known to be quite a primadonna...so maybe that is what got her fired? I dunno.

I'll miss mikaela banes, not so much Megan Fox. :lmao
Mikaela was Hott, and i thought she was a cool person for a character, especially in the first one.

megan , on the other hand, in real life- she just became ignorant in my opinion. It was actually annoying.
Especially at one transformers press conference, when an interviewer gave her a compliment telling her she was pretty, she went, "I
hear that everyday, NON STOP! so i can't accept it anymore. I just can't take it."

haha i just remember shia and michael looking at her like, "WTF was that about!?" :borat

Now here is the source - it's an interview with CQ magazine. They are doing this whole piece on Michael and it's gonna rock - there will be an interview with Spielberg, Scarlet Johanson and Will Smith.

    http://www.gq.com/entertainment/movi...#ixzz1PrBSX4oF

Ehren Kruger (screenwriter, Transformers series): She was there for rehearsals. But she seemed like an actress who didn't want to be a part of it. She was saying she wanted to, but she wasn't acting like it.
Michael Bay: She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry. You gotta stay focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven [Spielberg] said, "Fire her right now."
Shia LaBeouf: Criticism is one thing. Then there's public name-calling, which turns into high school bashing. Which you can't do. She started shit-talking our captain.
Bay: I wasn't hurt, because I know that's just Megan. Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I'm sorry, Megan. I'm sorry I made you work twelve hours. I'm sorry that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy. [Editors note: Fox declined to comment for this article.]
Ian Bryce (producer, Transformers series): On the plus side of the column, Rosie has done an enormously wonderful job for being a newcomer.
Bay: Listen, I mean, Rosie came in and she would say hello to the crew. She would acknowledge the crew. She'd say thank you.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (model/actor, Transformers: Dark of the Moon): I was really grateful to everybody, from the people on the catering department to the camera boys to the producers to Shia.
Julie White (actor, Transformers series): I texted [Megan] and was like, "Come back, Lassie!" Because I think she's magic. She is the My Little Pony of Transformers.
Bay: She sent me a text three months ago. She said, "I hope you're doing well." I responded, "Who is this?" She goes, "Megan, you dork!" I said, "Oh, well, thank you, hope you're well." When you're days and months on a set, it's like a family. You say rude things and you make up.

Well place yourself in her shoes.. maybe it will start getting meaningless to you to after hearing it from the whole world that she's pretty and stuff.. maybe she was thinking about it to much, over-thinking it is never good.

Wow... I'll read the whole thing another time.

And of course Steven Spielberg is right for being angry about it i would act the same way.

I hope she learned from this and accepts it for how it is and thinks twice before saying such a thing again.

I also wanted to say that but then i thought.. Oh yeah.. they wanted to teach her a lesson not to say shit like that ever again, you have to understand that saying such a thing will not go unpunished especially such a ill-mannered way.
Thats why Rosie is probably saying that in an interview, good manners gets you very far.

^This. I like that they got more than just Mr. Bay to comment.

Yeah. that's true. Im not bashing her or anything, im just saying that one comment was kind of strange because a lot of women out there wish they were being called pretty all the time, and megan seemed offended by it. :/ She was being stuck up. and no matter now pretty the girls are, them being stuck up is a turn off for me, especially when they think everyone's world revolves around them. O_o you know what I'm sayin'?

This whole thing is odd timing really.

Digging up an old grave. I can't say if someone should be blamed or not be blamed for rehashing this story. It does do its job which is generate publicity and ANY publicity is good publicity.

I don't know if this is some 'lets be friends' and 'we patched things up' just days before the premier of DOTM just make the whole Bay/Fox thing a thing of the past and their on good terms or if its some warning sign that they somehow feel like this dead story from a year ago will somehow affect DOTM at the box office.

In hindsight, unless you want this kind of stuff to come out. Its best not to do an interview because eventually the people who did it will dig it out of the dirt at times like these.

Fox was given the world. She took everything for granted in the end, a typical life story for women accustomed to controlling people only with their sexuality and not via other talents. She deserved to pay the price for ignorance of that magnitude.

Thanks for taking out the trash, Steven.

Um, I don't believe this shit one bit! You think if this were true, it would have been published but what, you wait months to say this crap, yeah right! Either way, I'm happy she's out and I'm all in love with Ms Rosie!
