Wow, this thread is over a year old.

What if what was called the "Allspark" in the movie turns out to not be the true "Allspark", but instead, something else that was created by Unicron? What if the Autobots and Decepticons are different species? What if Unicron is somehow connected to the Decepticon species? What if he created several of these cubes and placed them on several planets as a means of conquering their organic populations by having these cubes turn the machines there into more Decepticon killing machines?
Just thoughts. But that could explain why the cube repaired Frenzy and not Bumblebee. Maybe the cube can sense the genetics of any Transformer that touches it. Maybe it is programmed to only repair and create Decepticons.
What if the real Allspark is something else entirely? What if it was stolen from Cybertron eons ago and replaced by some cheap immitation cube to keep the planet powered?
Again, just thoughts.
my theory about the allspark and the xbox and vending machine transformers is that creation was not complete.
In the movie, every time the allspark created a transformer, it was a creature that was nowhere near sentient. It was ruled completly by instinctual programming.
In the 1st destiny comic, the autobots referred to these accidents as mutations.
What if the allspark is only half the equation? If the allspark gives life to machines and creates the transformers, what makes them sentient?![]()
did BBs voice get repaired when he touched the all spark?
tthere was that little zap when he touched it
if the allspark breeds bad robots why didnt it change BB into a con?
I agree that the allspark is what fixed Bumblebee's voice. It fixed frenzy. I think the reason why it did not affect Bumblebee was because he was a machine that was already alive and sentient.
As I said before, those allspark creations were not decepticons persay. They had no intelligence and relied purely on instinct. They wake up, see strange things they don't understand, they shoot.
Just how I understand things
I believe Orci said that it was Ratchet's repair beam that fixed Bumblebee, though he didn't discount the Allspark's assistance.
Also, the Allspark transmuted robots weren't necessarily evil, just wild and maybe a bit crazy. It probably didn't help that they were built from technology derived from Megatron.
In the original cartoon and comics there were 2 stages to TF creation. Step 1 would be to build and program the robots, then the lifeless robots would be given life by the Source of TF life: Vector Sigma in the Cartoon, the Creation Matrix in the Comics.
The Allspark in the 2007 Movie is a combination of Vector Sigma, the Creation Matrix and the Underbase (Marvel US TF Comics #47-50). Its life-giving properties come from the first two, while its cube shape and destructive power (it kills you if you merge with it) are from the Underbase.
Maybe it did repair Bumblebee's voice. Who knows. But watching the movie myself, I got the impression that Ratchet is the one who did the repair.
What I'd like to know is why Bumblebee's face looks the same in TF2 if his voice got repaired. Given the way he moved the area of his face where his mouth should be when he talked, it seemed as if he has a mouth somewhere. I'm wondering if Ratchet put some metal thing in his mouth and around his face after he got his voicebox several damaged for some reason. If so, one would think Ratchet would remove it after he regained his ability to speak. Or maybe he gained an ability to speak for only a little while and then lost it. Maybe he's mute again in TF2. Or maybe his face has always looked weird.
I think he always looked like that. He din't change his face when he started talking again.
