Yes, I got it just now when I tried to go to michaelbay.com.

Here's the page that comes up. I'm using Firefox as a browser if that needs to be known.

If you can, clear your browser (FireFox) cache, and the try both methods. First, thru Google, and then by typing www.michaelbay.com on your browser.

As some of you might know–those who visit the Michael Bay Dot Com page–there was an attack on Michael Bay Dot Com.

Late Tuesday night, there was an attack that was performed in 2 stages:

The first stage was a brute force attack. It was frontal. The site survived it as it did not go down (according to logs). No passwords were compromised.

The second part which made the Google and Malware reflags go Defcon 1 was that a root file was altered. The code placed was not malicious in nature–no virus.

The code, once executed, basically redirected anyone that came to Michael Bay Dot Com through a search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc) to another site.

The motive? Profit, by increasing the search engine ranking for their site using unethical and illegal techniques.

If anyone did get redirected to this other site, please PM me.

    I apologize for any inconvenience.

Did it. Cleared both the cache and cookies from my Firefox browser and tried it both ways with Google and by typing it on my browser and all I get is this on michaelbay.com: "Go to the S4TE Forums"
This time there was no warning page, so I got to michaelbay.com page, but it was a white page with the text that's above.
I tried it with Internet Explorer as well, with the same result...

Yeah, as long as the warning page is gone, we're all right.

Update: the site is no longer posting a warning page as the site is clear.

IF you access it through Google or any of the search engines, you should have no problem.

The main site is offline as it's been scrubbed. It will be online as soon as soon as possible.
