I'm not. I've acknowledged what Nelson and other members have said,I'm just referring to Faceh's comment. It's true we havn't seen the same characters in their robot form- yet even so, as far as the name's-go - from the filmfootage we've seen so far that there will be a blue robot - looking to be verymuch like Wheeljack - and a red Robot - looking very similar to Mirage. And yesI'll follow up my own statement with a couple of these icons:dh:dh because I know someonewill want to waste space on the forum posting them up. We always come back to square one no matter what the topic, with the bottom line always being that we'll have to wait till the movie's release to know for sure.

You gotta be kidding. Maybe you havn't watched the new t.v. spot yet, or refuse not to because you don't want to be "spoiled" but there is a red "bot" in the new TV spot that IS the same "bot" as seen in the Children's picture book. The name happens to be Mirage. (This also goes for Wheeljack, who has also been spotted in the trailer) They're both in the movie.

I think it's pretty obvious I'm a fan like yourself - I know about the two because I've watched the trailer and the t.v. spots and have seen them both in their robot forms from the footage. The same images of those two characters are not just the comic, but in book form, and they match up. That's all I have to say - common sense says it's them. Nelson says otherwise, and that's Nelson.

But seriously, I don't know why you guys can't accept the fact that they can't call him Mirage in the movie. I thought the whole Ferrari-Mattel partnership as far as licensing and merchandising goes was a just reason for it. I think we should consider ourselves lucky that we even get to see a Ferrari Autobot in the movie.

Oh, and guess what, Sideways was never called Sideways in ROTF, either. In fact, his name never even got a shout out in the movie. Oh, and none of his toys were licensed Audi merchandise, they only looked like Audi's. It's the same principle!!!

i wish i had the sites that did besides the comic books and all that good stuff heck nelson never denied that it wasnt him and if i am not mistaken i know nelson said on here as well but im not ganna go crazy trying to find were,but it sucks for the fans mirage cuz it wasnt him.. i think they or nelson should have killed it from the very first time they said it was him why wait weeks after the fans found out to now come out and say well its now im is some famous italian -_- but like i said i dont care but i know fans do, i mean hasbro has him as mirage and comics for a reason witch is? i dunno lmaooo.is like soundwave in the site they had him as carlys mercedez but ten was changed back to saying satelite that a problem corrected...but it will be interesting to see who he really is i just hope they dont give him a human name

It means nothing if he's called Mirage in the comics and books. Also, about the Italian name. I don't see why they can't switched back to the name "Enzo" when they were shuffling through the names for him. I must say, that actually sounds like a cool name for a robot. It's a nice departure from the typical being named after a random object.

Also, the names are really only designations for these bots. ("My first lieutenant, designation: Jazz.") Probably because Jazz's real name would be something like *N&^B&*^$*%^V$%^&%V&^, AKA, unpronounceable to humans. Same thing goes for Ferraribot (that's what I call him now), "Enzo" would be his designation (IF that's true of course), for his real name is $@@X%#T#T%CEHGDGHSGFXWRT. :lmao

So there you have it, the Ferrari's true name is a bunch of incomprehensible gibberish, because he's an alien from another planet who's first language is an incomprehensible alien language. The debate is over, I win.
