My Wife just got us 2 tix for the late show on my birthday, June 30th, in Toronto!

IMAX 3D !! Can't wait!

Turns out you were right. Apparently, AMC DOES cancel showtimes. Yet they didn't bother to e-mail me about it, OR refund me.

I noticed that a Cars 2 IMAX showing was playing on the same time and date as the TF3 showtime. I tried calling the theater, but all I'm getting it automated BS.

If it turns out to all be true, and AMC pretty much stole my money, I'm going down there to get it back, and get just a Real D showtime. Can't switch it to any other nearby IMAX's, because they're all filled up at this point.

So mad right now.

Disney is scared that TF3 will beat Cars 2 at the box office. TF3 won't beat it, it will DESTROY IT!!!!!

It might be for security. The local theaters in my area do that as well, so as to keep some sort of peace in big blockbusters like this.
