    I'm going to buy it on Friday 1st, since that's the only time I can get a ticket before the day, since it's gonna be full.
    I did this with Avatar and worked brilliantly. I had to get there early to get in line and get a great seat in the middle fpr pure 3D awesomeness!

    purchased my families tickets for 920 tuesday night in imax my wife gets home from work at 7 it takes 45 minutes to get to the imax (freeway construction) i informed the family we will buy fast food and eat it on the way. they seem very supportive, although i dont know why my wife packed a suitcase this morning for work?

    I dont have my ticket yet for the 29th, they dont sell them untill a few days before it comes out.

    I also might go to the avant-premiere in Paris the 29th XD no im not going on the 28th but if Michael Bay comes or the cast comes here in Metropolis then im gonan go on the 28th here! XD

    Finally went down to Ft Lauderdale yesterday and got my tickets. The IMAX hooked to the museum, including 3D was only 13 bucks for adults and 10 for kids.

    Also, kind of funny. When driving on I-95 north bound, back home, there was this electronic billboard that flashed Transformers on it, and had Optimus Prime's face. It was just weird.

    I'm gonna pick up my ticket the day of (Thursday morning matinee), since I'm a cheap SOB and the crowd won't be quite as big as opeing day (not a fan of movie crowds).

    The theater is about a 1/4 mile from where I work...so I'll just take a few hours off, then head back for 1/2 a late shift.

    shit, i might end up buying IMAX tickets then.

    I saw Pirates in IMAX and had massive glasses, im going to smuggle in some other glasses that i got from Avatar and if they work i'll wear them. Its more comfortable and plus everyone is getting IMAX tickets not 2D.
