But you get good benefits, don't you? I always read that places like Sweden and Switzerland, while pricey, also seem to have a better quality of life.

Good benefits vs. Transformers. Hmm... I'm gonna have to give a slight edge to Transformers. Who wants to live forever anyway?!

The hell? The showtime I bought my ticket for just vanished into thin air. Not like the "Sold Out" kind of vanished (it would be greyed out if so), but as if it was never available. Better just be a website glitch, or I'm gonna be mad. I wanted to buy my dad's ticket.

    LOL. Damn Disney Hackers.

If it doesn't come back up by tomorrow, I'm going to the theater to see what's up. If they canceled the 9pm show (for what ever reason), they should give me my money back.

I'm just curious... what do you guys pay for a movie ticket where you live? Mine ended up costing $22...

Well, it's the same $22 for me since I live in Sweden and we only got ONE cinema operator, so they can set any prices they want since they have monopoly on the cinema market...
No way 3D tickets cost $22 in the US!

In my country the DOTM IMAX ticket is approximately $21. Which is a bit higher than a regular IMAX ticket. For example POTC IMAX ticket was $17.

Booked my tickets for 5 people total cost was $83.75 for Boeing IMAX
    Each ticket was $16.75

Too bad I can't go see it a 9pm on Tuesday as my parents won't allow me to be in downtown Seattle in the evening. So I'm going to the midnight showing on the 29th at a local IMAX and then at 5:55pm again at the bigger IMAX.

Hmmm, after a couple days, the 12:25 show grayed out, then disappeared. So the 9:00 vanishing wasn't a glitch, it just sold out.

A little upset that I couldn't buy my father a ticket, but I can always see it again.
