Thumbs up Re: For International fans

Tonight, TV Asahi aired POTC3: At World's End. After the program ended, there was a DOTM spot and the narration and caption said "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was brought to you by Transformers: Darkside Moon (JP title)".

LOL, now it's a kind of hot topic through Twitter in Japan, like "wow, Optimus Prime sponsored Jack Sparrow". Great job.

It is less 'video' visibility here in Malaysia. Lots of visual standees, product placements, etc. but when it comes to movie trailers (Transformers or not) its always the old (Teaser) trailers. Theatrical trailers come too late. Usually a week before movie opens.

Disappointed that Event Cinema's are showing the "Revenge of the Fallen" poster in the Advance Screenings, not the Dark of the Moon one.

    Default An Awesome Advertising Board

On the way back from Wembley(London) today i took a picture of an advertising board for the new X-Men First class film. I thought it looked awesome, and thought why couldn't/didn't TF3 have something like this with the Optimus Prime standee.

excuse the pic quality was on a moving coach at the time

HP8 unfortunately is stronger than TF3 in advertising ..... Paramount is so cheap this year WB are NOT and is a shame to lose ground because of that !!!!!

Empire Basildon Essex has no posters of ANY kind in the foyer... they are showing A trailer before X-Men: First Class, but as my sister took so long in getting ready, we got in the theatre just as it finished, so i dunno which one it is....:head

Wow! As I mentioned before my country is not even mentioned on the official TF3 site. Finally I managed to find the distribution company for TF3 here and asked them what's the release date here. They answered me and it turned out that we have separate site for this. I've never even tried to find it. A big surprise. So now I'm happy that the movie's premiere here is also on 29th.

I'm seeing X-Men this saturday so I might see the trailer and at least one poster. The only marketing I've seen so far was the poster on a scientific magazine.

I just read the magazine to see the poster

In Santiago de Chile we have a lot of promotion going on. The (beautiful) standee has been placed for quite a while now. And the trailer has been up in the cinemas with several movies, including Pirates 4.

During the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, which was broadcasted by Chilevision, they showed the "Big Game Spot".

In a Dutch TV guide named Veronica Magazine there are 3 full pages of The Hangover II.
Lets hope they will advertise TF3 that much too, but they gace it 3 stars from the 5 or more stars.. so that aint much.
    http://www.veronicamagazine.nl/

They did a nice job at advertising TF1 and 2 previously so i i hope they will do that again this time around.
Also the Dutch FHM did a nice job at advertising the robots with TF 1 and 2 but has finacial problems lately people are subscribing less to them, they sure could use a boost if Paramount pays Dutch FHM a bit more for more advertising would be really sweet

Paramount JP held a 3D footage viewing to the press yesterday. Great reviews are going around the web.
