that's nothing new. The papers here make sometimes mistakes. (I even laughed my butt off when they wrote some wrong stuff when my sis get married and they even had the date wrong)

For the other things, i've seen that the toy store bart smit and blocker (not a toy store, but a junk store) have some toys. Also, i think Media markt has a poster of transformers. I'm not sure if game mania has them already. (btw when does the game come out?)

So who watches the TV hit show Top Gear?
I bet most of the guys here watch it right?

How about they send Shia, Tyrese and Josh or even Rosie and John T. XD ;D to the show and let them take a lap on the Top Gear circuit?

That would be awesome to see and funny to see who kicks who's butt plus they get to talk about everything, personal stuff and Transformers 3 and how crazy filming was and stuff.

I just saw a trailer on channel 5 here in Sweden for Jim Carrey's new movie, something with penguins.

Funny part... It opens July 6th... Oh and the quality was good, didn't look like the TF Tv-spot that was streamed.

    Cool Re: For International fans

I'm still amazed how bad Sweden has been. In todays paper Metro which is for free and the most read paper in the country they had a whole page for the new Planet Of The Apes which comes out August 17th.

Somebody is screwing this up big time. My dad owns a rentalstore and when I talk to people about the new Transformers movie coming out they go: Is there a new one really?

So, there's nothing here. The only posters are in theaters, and quite hidden actually. No bus stop posters since only Cars 2 matters. 1 TV spot and that's that.

I thought Bay was taking this seriously, but he's damn busy voicing Shockwave : rol

It's not much better with Paramount Pictures UK, their foot seems to be off the gas! I've only seen one TV advert and poster!

I remember TF1 and TF2 being oversaturated in the papers, TV, radio, online, everywhere! And where are movie tie ins, who's sponsoring the movie in the UK? Burger King? KFC? Kellogg's?

    What's going on?

It would be really interesting to find out what is going on actually.

I mean, this is a blockbuster movie and we know how those movies advertise. TDK had a huge campaign in Stockholm, Avatar, X-men Wolverine, Sex & The City.

And they are starting for Planet Of The Apes very early here in the newspapers.

    Where has it gone wrong?

I think it is a shame to be honest, we're comparing this to Avatar but at the same time a lot of people don't even know the movie is coming out.

Will we see a big boom of advertisement and reviews as soon it hits theaters?

ive seen the TF3 poster in the paper a week ago, nothing since.

nothing on buses, on bus stops, advertising boards... Paramount are doing really poor advertising for this film, bit of a shame really..

    * I just suggested they make some awesome Transformers 3 Emotionicons for all MSN users like Bumblebee crashing through your screen and burns a donut and driving away on another thread i suggested this.
Would be great fun and awesome for the kids FREE for all MSN users

    * I also suggest they create a MP3 to download for FREE on iTunes with the voices of one of the Autobots just talking but he's talking to you in your car.

You can play that mp3 in your car when its a hot summer day and the idea is that you turn up the volume and he's talking to you and everybody would hear this right while you have your window open of your car and Optimus tells you TF3 in theatres near you!

Its pretty funny idea i think free advertising right there
Maybe i explained it poorly for those who dont understand sorry.

    * I also suggest tehy take a look at Hyves.nl its a Dutch version of Facebook.

gonna take a quick spin around in my car to see teh adverts if they are hanging :P

I just came back from driving on a long road where lots of different advertisement busstops are and non of them have a movie in it, there was one blank busstop though.. could get TF3 :P im still hoping :P

    Bustops contain advertisement for..

    -Quick (french fastfood restaurant)
    -Parfum.. something..
-and a trip to somewhere for vacation... something like Jet Air or whatever...

Still hoping for more advertisement! XD :P

Another question for which I didn't want to start my own thread:

are there going to be any 2D screenings of TFOTM in the Eindhoven area? I've searched the internet, but couldn't find any. My brother-in-law is unable to watch 3D movies due to an eyesight condition, and I really would like to do one cinema visit with him.

    Any Dutchies that can help?
