there are 2 kinds of people, g-1 fans, and true transformers fans. g-1 fans are mad because the movie want a remake of the original. real transformers fan appreciated the movie for what it was...transformers... not g-1.

hey man...if you've got another 100 million to put towards the movie then by all means do it. That way we can have more robot time. People keep bringing up this point and it's stupid.

You can't have crazy character development with these robots. It costs fuckin millions every time a robot is on screen for a couple of seconds. I don't think people realize this.

The reason for pushing the human element is budget. It's just not feasible to do it nay other way. Anybody who bitches about this should find the other people who bitch...pool their money together, and help finance the movie.

I don't mean to be rude, but this is a tired, stupid fucking argument point. Because there is no argument. Budget constraints.....end of argument...period.

I hate to disagree agony, but the fact is shia will along with his hottie side kick, will pull a large budget.the facts are this cgi is expensive I agree along with time consuming.tyrese paid to be in the damn movie but the fact is once a movie takes off, almost all star actors and defininetly as a whole group cost more than typical cgi. the fact is tf is one of the most well known and popular movies out.alot of cgi work is needed.superman and many other movies prove my point. the stars make far more as checks go as far as cgi costs go.no?

I'm not saying this is the case for tf. Most of the big stars were fans of the genre and just wanted to be included in the film.but beyond that most big blockbuster movies with star actors tend to pay actors more than cgi effects.when let's say Iron man comes out let's see how much robert got payed to play stark and how much the cgi costs.

Well any smart director is going to leave more money to his effects then his actors on a big budget movie. As for Transformers having big stars....where? haha

I mean, besides Jon Voight, who by current standards really wouldn't be considered a huge star =P

Bernie Mac, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Voight, John Turturro, Shia Lebeouf.... Hmm.. thought all of these were big stars. Least I've seen them in a lot of movies...

I figured you'd go with bernie mack or the fat black guy who's the hacker.for starpower.but voit is up there to and tyrese...now don't get me wrong I don't think of him as a star but he a world renowned male super model for a reason.and like I said lets see how much robert downey jr makes in the new Iron man movie and how much cgi not fx,but cgi costs.
