Geology: Dutch NOT Deutsch.

Hey all,

I wanna show you guys what the diffirence is between Dutch and Deutsch(German) is because i always come across people who have no clue what they are saying.

So i made these next images to show you what is German and what is Dutch from the Netherlands or Holland.

Most people make the mistake between Deutsch, wich sounds and looks like Dutch but are two different countries that lay next to eachother in Western-Europe.


This is German/Deutsch:

Etc. ... (sorry for the Hitler but then you know what German/Germany is, lets not make it a taboo its called reality and we forgave them for it and its been 66years now.)

This is Dutch/Nederlands, Netherlands-Holland (is the same)/Nederland:

*Keep in mind this is to be clear what Dutch is and not German.*

It's a game show called ECHT WAAR?! people have to guess where certain phrases come from, what their origin is and they dress up for certain things and they got to have an extra example so this gorgeous lady had to dress up in Zeelands clothing
It's a show filled with humor and fun stuff with two comedians and the older guy that presents the show.

I so wish they would do this more often :P

This is near my town Cadzand Bad where i grew up when i was a kid, it's the oldest windmill (is what they say) in the Netherlands, Sluis:



It's from 1643 there's still a whole in it from granade shards from WWII.. i drove through that town not so long ago so i thought i just share this with you all.

Yeah thats right BMW does deliver excellent cars it was just an example to make it clear to people what the difference is between the two countries and what were known for i didnt mean any negativity to the Germans of course (were German blood ourselves) so were entitled to say this, also the Netherlands delivers lots of parts to them so it all stays connected with eachother.

A typical Dutch candy is "Drop" in English => "lickerish" some people might use this word for being "greedy" and i have no idea where this comes from... hopefully not from the Dutch..

There is "Drop" that contains salt in it which rises the blood pressure which isn't all that healthy, a different version of "Drop" is "Salmiak Drop" or Sal Ammoniac this contains a salt that does not raise your blood pressure and is therefor a healthier candy. just wanted to share that with you all lol
