I'm actually not familiar with the Transformers from the old toon, just wasn't into them, so I'm not keen to else is in the trailer. Megs and Starscream are going to be it, right? What's the flying looking thing? I didn't seem to see Ratchet in the trailer, but I could have missed him, it was a busy trailer.

I think the flying hover drones will be more or less Con versions of air craft. I think there will be Cons piloting them like we would pilot our air craft.

Yep, I think you're right. We've seen from the set videos that these things have cockpits and I believe they will be piloted by D-cons in their protoform (we've seen several protobots exiting the space bridge gate in DC from the trailer). And this makes the drones perfect for hijacking.

Yeah, it's called Reedman. It was formed by the small magnetic balls that were spit out by Ravage.

You know what I was wondering earlier today: what ever happened to that "red head on a stick" , the one spotted on the Chicago set. We never found out who he was, right? Or did I miss that?

It's not Mirage, despite the resemblance in color (the shape is not similar). It could be an early draft of Sentinel's head maybe?

For me it's Mirage all the way. Here is comparison with the toy which I believe is 90% accurate. Look - both have horns, both have a sliced liked head and both have a T-like silver face. Just the toy picture is watched from a lower point of view and the one on the street is watched from a higher point of view.

Stupid random question, but how come we didn't see more of the Autobots in protoform? I was watching the first movie over the weekend, and thought the few glimpses of them was rather wicked looking, why not have something happen to one of them where they can't transform into something for some reason? Anybody have any drawings or graphics of the protoforms?
