Looks like Spidey is gay. :lmao

I think this movie will be a big let down. I didn't like the previous version too. But that's just me.

I can't say I like the new suit either, But that's just because I'm Old School. I can't really judge it until I see how it is in the movie. Maybe it'll work maybe it won't.

yeah, im kind of ehh about
    this movie, because they
already had an original before it...
i dont normally like reboots. That's just me...its
just really weird sometimes. however, i didnt
like the original that much. I liked the first one though.
i saw it when i was like 5 or something.

Looks great and should be more truer to the original comics where Raimi's movies felt like they were based on "Ultimate Spider-Man" while this is based on the original comics where Gwen Stacy was the original love before MJ. Glad we have Lizard in this movie and that the webshooters are his original merchanical and not organic.

I'm not warming up to the new costume at all.

I'm all for it but as of right now I'm just hopeing the movie doesn't turn out to be a huge flop. I really haven't seen anything in the trailer that makes me interested enough to see the movie.

    Thumbs down Re: Amazing Spiderman

    http://blastr.com/2012/05/does-amazing-spider-man-m.php

Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has already said he doesn't want to retread territory covered in Sam Raimi's recent Spider-Man trilogy. But has he gone so far as to make fundamental changes to the origin tale?

The latest rumor making the rounds, courtesy of Devin Faraci over at Badass Digest, is that Peter Parker's father actually engineered some of those Spider powers before his death, nixing the classic happenstance super-spider bite angle.

"Three sources have told me this, but I held it. I didn't see the point in running it now, when the movie has been shot and edited and is ready to go. Nothing can be changed. But then the new trailer hits today and all but spells this out, so what the hell, here we go," he wrote. "Spider-Man's origin has been changed in The Amazing Spider-Man. The spider bite no longer gives Peter powers, it rather activates something already in his genetic structure. Something placed there by his father. Peter Parker is no longer super-powered by chance, but rather by design."

Gee, I wonder and wonder if the "Spider-Man" fans will now attack Marc Webb the way these "Ninja Turtles" fans attacked Bay for changing the origin story?

No, of course not. After all, Webb is a "respected" art house director... : rol

Not on MB.com, but I'm sure on some forum on some remote corner of the Internet, there are Spider-fans that are furious, sharpening their pitchforks as we speak.

    Webb = small target.

Bay = large, easy target. (practically parody at this point to get so oddly worked up, if it isn't for web hits)

Plain and simple, and it has been for years now.

It's got decent to good reviews now.

Anyone thinks it will be as good as Avengers? and i hear a rumor that an avenger might be in the sequel since Marvel now has a movie universe of it's own

I just went to watch this yesterday. Pretty good flick. Well it's not as good as the Avengers movie or any of the individual avenger film, but it's definitely better than the previous Spider-man movies. I love how they gave Spidey a comedic character (it's more comic accurate that way). And Gwen Stacey tops Mary Jane big time.

I saw it last night and what a cool reboot this one was, Spider-Man was funny at last and Lizard was cool. I hope Mysterio, Kraven with Punisher outta be in the sequel or have a cameo by Tony Stark.

I watched it last night. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Course the Character I was looking forward to seeing the most was the Lizard.

After such a long time not going to the cinema i finally went to see this movie..

And it was great! so much better then the previous Spider-man movies! I loved this cast! They REALLY did a great job with the cast! Excellent, well picked all of them, this spider-man was a pleasure to watch didn't really had that with Toby.. This blonde girl is so cute too really liked her, great acting all all action was sweet, well done i really wanna see a next one just like this.

The movie was great but unfortunately these types of movies draw certain freakin irritating Moroccans into the theater and were laughing in a really dumb way (almost like a mongol you would say..) with everything super loud.. when there was nothing happening on the screen to when there were romantic scenes, to dramatic scenes, to the doctor holding a syringe in a scene the a-hole would go like "what is that doctor bhaha.." -_- freakin irritating sh*t i swear to god.. -_- the whole damn movie it was like this.. I managed to focus to most of the movie though..

The blonde girl was really cute really enjoyed her on the screen but u also saw Tia Texada from 3rd Watch (tv series which was a great show!) was awesome! Plus i really liked seeing her get it.. and she still looked really good! which was great but seriously, great movie loved watching it 5x times better then previous Spider-Man movies.
And i wanna see Emma Stone back again of course those socks looked really nice on her hihi

That web in the sewer was good thinking, just like a real spider would.
