I've just seen a tv spot too. It was like a mix of the every trailer we have seen so far, with Turkish subtitles.

I haven't seen any promotional ads or anything for DOTM here in WA yet.... No posters at the theater, no TF ring pops (that I can see), and no tv spots/ads.... I guess they'll come on soon. What I really hope though is that they do the Slurpee cups again for TF as I collected all of them for ROTF.

sadly no, but nearly everyone else did... game ended 4-1 (6-1 on aggregate over the 2 legs) (Hernandez is a likely candidate for the title deciding game this weekend BTW)

And onto the topic again, LOL, it is good to see the movie being promoted over here... we're usually quite bad with promoting movies. Generally, is a movie is to get a specific trailer.... we never get it...

Speaking about the movie in different countries, I was wondering who likes to see the movie in another language. In my case, I really hate from the bottom of my heart the Spanish version of the movies. Specially for transformers. Optimus sounds like a big, dorky, person with some speaking problem and kinda slow. Only watched 10 seconds of it. And I always make sure is in english before enter the cinema. Do not know how people are content with seeing the dubbed films. The characters fail to be themselves and still go to the movies to see things at half. Imagine OP with the voice of Michael Clarke Duncan but with brain damage. Thats the spanish versión. Mediocre people. So I guess a lot of you will see the movie in it's original language. Movies lose so much by this. Plus it's Peter Cullen, Frank Welker etc.*

The promotional campaign really need to be way more aggressive. Many people don't even know that there's another TF movie coming.
And the competition is not sleeping. Just check the newest 3 straight headlines over at Comingsoon.net. I'll just quote the titles:

Three New Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows - Part 2 TV Spots
Hitting 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on July 15
    Wednesday, June 1, 2011 1:12 AM

Four New X-Men: First Class TV Spots Hits

    The mutants are almost here!
    Wednesday, June 1, 2011 1:03 AM

Four More TV Spots for Green Lantern

The adaptation hits theaters on June 17
    Wednesday, June 1, 2011 12:54 AM

These 3 heqadlines appeared in a matter of 20 min.

I'm sure that Paramount know what they're doing.

No need to worry. IF, the 3D effects are as good in the whole movie, as they were in the 3D trailer, people will get to know that after the movie premieres by word to mouth. And if you wanna compare this movie to something it should be against Avatar. If I remember correctly, there wasn't that many Avatar TV spots and trailers released before the movie and people barely knew what the movie was about before they went to to see it at the movies and look what happened. The reason why many people will wanna see TF 3 is because the 3D. If it's a lot better than in Avatar, people will get to know that and they will go and see the movie even if they haven't seen the previous two. Awesome 3D is the key here. Not the amount of TV spots and trailers that are shown before the movie. And why anybody would wanna see the movie in only 2D is beyond me.
You will like totally miss the whole experience, just like with Avatar...
Harry Potthead, The Green Lantern and X-men won't stand a chance at the Box Office world wide against TF 3. Just because of the mind blowing 3D in TF 3. Case closed.

    Sorry, that's BS.

This moving is tracking higher than any OTHER movie worldwide.

Those movies you mentioned, are giving out too much.

You could just watch the Green Lantern trailer and save yourself a trip to the theater.

Harry Potter is not a visual spectacle so it's not like they're going to spoil any money shots or plot points that anyone doesn't already know.

Xmen needs all the help it can get especially after the last one. It's not like you don;t know what the story is and where it leads to.

    Good point Nelson!
Just one other thing. You live in the US right? Are you online all the time? It must be early morning there just now and it looks like you have commented on several threads all ready this morning.

I can tell this is true. Sri Lankan's are more hyped for DOTM than the other movies. Mercedes just revealed the first SLS AMG for my country. I have a huge feeling that they are targeting the movie. I heard one representative tell to the people at the motor show "This car is in the next Transformers movie; Transformers 3". I couldn't help but smile.

Didn't the last DOTM trailer beat all the download records?

And also a lot of people will know about it with the new Linkin Park video. 29.328.466 people get updates on their facebook page.
