Default Steve Jablonsky on board again??

Does anyone know if Steve Jablonsky is doing the score for the sequel??....I loved his scores for The Island and T1....and i know he's been involved in Pearl Harbor and Armageddon too!! One hell of a movie score composer!!

I'd say you can hear a lot of Hans Zimmer in his work

    Cheers, Beni

I'd say it's a bit too early to tell considering a script hasn't been finalized/approved and filming hasn't even begun.

I'm sure Spielberg and Bay were happy with him though, so it should be a no brainer in him coming back for a sequel.

    I think anywhoos.

how many of these guys sound almost identical to Hans? Is Jablonsky the closest or what? Cause there are a good 20 or so composers at that production house.

I've got no idea. Their line-up is constantly changing as well. Trevor Rabin and Mark Mancina were a part of Remote Control once I believe, but left because they didn't want to work "for Hans" since they wanted to become their own, but I'm not sure. They're obsessed with addional composers as well. I don't understand why just one guy can do the full score without the help from 3 "ghost composers" who never recieve credit. It's strange.

I surely hope that Steve will come back for the Sequel. I loved the music in TF1, it was just amazing. Especially the 'Arrival to Earth' song.

seems that he and mike work well together (aditional music in Pearl Harbor and BB2, full score in The Island and TF,worked in all the platinum dunes films 'til the date), so i don't have any doubt that he will be in TF2.
