but what exactly are spoiler tags?
Like this?
SPOILER!
I Fight Giant Robots
I understand why you made this thread. I was just reading a post by someone and literally read a spoiler....it had no tag!![]()

Seriously, don't do it! I was here the last time all this happened. It wasn't pretty.
They call me Ratchet Girl for a reason. Sometimes Skids girl.
Yeah, I'm a girl...SO FREAKING WHAT????
http://www.youtube.com/user/Taybrian1 I'm a Youtube star! (Not really, I just get bored.)
Gotcha....

Definitely all the spoilers have to be tagged. It would have been great if there was a function to hide your sentence in black and if you want to read it then you have to highlight it. Now I'm changing the color of the text to white but still it's visible on the grayish background. Is there a chance for such function?
Good reminder thread. Sounds fair too.
I never go into any thread tagged with a spoiler alert. Considering I am more a reader than a poster in here, it is greatly appreciable.
I take this opportunity as well to thank most of the posters for their daily contributions that make my experience more enjoyable.
Nelson, just out of interest... if someone wanted to post something that was just a rumour and wasn't confirmed... would the tag of [Possible Spoiler] be okay or should we just label anything that could be a spoiler with
?

got it nelson. but i do enjoy reading spoilers, but thats just me.
He doesn't forbid us to post them, he just tell us to remember to tag them. Then people can choose for themselves, if they want to read them or not.

Think you would be best off with tagging it as a spoiler, sorry for butting in. Then you are on the safe side.

I would do so anyway.... i guess as long as SPOILER is in the title it'll be ok?

While speculating and info gathered from other sources (books, games etc.) are fun… they do ruin the movie for us. Bay and the others are keeping everything all hush-hush because they want to surprise us. Since Bay himself told a little about
Driller, Brains and Sam’s rescue mission
it’s ok to talk and discuss about them a little. But that is MY opinion. I always wondered why the Comic Books and Games release 2 months before a movie? Wouldn’t that ruin the fun? But I came to realize that it’s because of Marketing reasons. A movie can be an entertainment masterpiece… still, the people involved must earn money as well. Lots of families depend on it. But to people like Michael Bay… money isn’t everything. I think he believes in more than just earning money. Which is exactly why all the secrecy is in place. But some people love to findout more before a movie comes out. It fun. But we all must remember not to spoil others. But if they are asking I’ll tell what I know (not that I know a lot).
At the end of the day, when we all walk out of the theater, I’m sure everyone will tell… "DOTM is the best movie ever, man!"
I have complete faith in it. Kudos to Bay, Kudos to fans!![]()
Perfectly understandable. Course, I don't post spoilers--Why bother? By the time I get back here to post it somebody's beaten me to it!
