    1. The trailer comes out with Fast Five in two weeks for everyone, but Bay thought that Fast Five came out next week, perhaps because he saw that it does come out in several countries next week and figured that was a global release. A simple mistake. Not a conspiracy.

    2. The trailer comes out next week with Fast Five, but not in the US.

    3. The trailer comes out next week, but not with Fast Five.

    4. The trailer comes out with Fast Five next week in some countries and in two weeks in the US.

    5. There is no trailer.

    6. There is no Transformers 3; it's all been an elaborate ruse.

    7. There is no Fast Five; it's really Slick Six.

    8. There is no Dana, only Zuul.

    9. There is no spoon.

Personally, I'm leaning towards número uno. But that's just me.

Seriously though, I'm appreciate the complement, but the Mods here do a great job and I can't see how I would improve on that.

Besides, I'd probably feel compelled to tone down my long, sarcastic, borderline off-topic posts, and who wants that?

Speaking of "let's get back on topic", does everyone hope the new trailer is very story heavy, or continue the trend of the tv spots with only hinting at the story? I expect the former because it's a full trailer, but I kinda hope for the latter.

is it a teaser or a full trailer?

Either way.. i think it'll tell us a bit more about what the story is this time out....

    That's a good question. I guess I assume its a full trailer.

I will be the same trailer except it will be in 3D no new scenes if that what you guys think.

I'm guessing it will actually show more of the story. Probably just the jist of the plot to get people to understand what they're in for when they go see it. I still hope there's going to be an immense amount of curiosity though. That's always fun.

OK, so now we've finally got a confirmation date. What do you people think, will it be a teaser trailer or full theatrical trailer? The only thing we know is that the trailer will be 2:18 min. long. Let's make a comparison with ROTF.

ROTF teaser trailer 2:16 min. released on February 16, 2009

ROTF theatrical trailer 2:26 min. released on April 30, 2009

ROTF final theatrical trailer 2:14 min. released on June 22, 2009

For me 2:18 min. sounds short for a full theatrical trailer. And I completely forgot that ROTF had a trailer released so late (June 22). And look we have almost a complete match with the April 30 date.
So for me the April 28 will be more like a teaser trailer and in June we'll get the full theatrical trailer.
I personally will be happier if we only see one trailer with no TV spots, but somehow I doubt this will happen.

Idk Alber. I'm really hoping that it is a Teaser Trailer. That way we would get another more in depth trailer of footage when it's closer to release. I would like Bay to continue the trend of releasin teaser, teaser trailer, then theatrical/final trailer.

it's to do with the different time zones across the US... East coast (EST) is something like four hours ahead of the West Coast (PST, P for Pacific)
