Yes you're right. The guy on the far left is him. You can definitely tell this when you see his IMDb picture.

You can also notice that Tyrese is wearing a different uniform/outfit than the rest. His pants seem like a type of firefighter outfit or something.

Yep, that's him. I met him in Detroit and got a pic with him and two other NEST soldiers in that shot (and another who took the pic). Check out the pic in this thread:
