Default People who think we hoaxed the Moon Landings...

    ... should be beaten.

I mean, seriously, I'm sick of searching YouTube for Moon Landing videos, and all I get is all the "look at us, we have proof of the hoax" videos. No you don't.

I'm assuming everyone on here doesn't believe in the hoaxes (because of Dark of the Moon), so any thoughts as to why people would try to get these hoaxes across as being true (other than seeking attention, of course).

Oh, and I have seen the Mythbusters episode. :borat

How the heck can you fake a thing like that? I have heard a lot of theories on that but none of them seem trustworthy. it is a lot like the guys on flatearthsociety.com lol

I hear it would be a bigger pain in the ass to fake than to do the real thing.

It's nonsense! I think they definitely went but what happened in space and on the moon is why "they" created the moon landing conspiracy.

The easiest way to confuse the public and lead them away from the truth is to feed them disinformation.

The public is slowly being conditioned into knowing the truth about "what's out there", for example look at how many alien themed movies are coming out this year (approx 10-16). Over the last several years various world governments have also started to open and release their previously classified UFO files. The Obama administration promised to have an open and transparent government but he's been unable to investigate it properly due to the diabolically huge mess G Bush left the country in before Obama took over.

Don't take my word on it... see for yourself:

"All Apollo and Gemini flights were followed, both at a distance and sometimes also quite closely, by space vehicles of extraterrestrial origin - flying saucers, or UFOs, if you want to call them by that name.
Every time it occurred, the astronauts informed Mission Control, who then ordered absolute silence."

    Maurice Chatelain
Former Chief of NASA Communications Systems

    ***
"At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by UFOs."

    NASA Astronaut Scott Carpenter
Carpenter photographed a UFO while in orbit on May 24, 1962. NASA still has not released the photograph.

    ***
"Look, I have a pension to worry about. I have a family to take care of, and they told me to just back away from this entirely or else."

    Astronaut James Irwin
Apollo 15, to Frank Stranges after backing out of speaking at a 1976 UFO convention where he was going to "inform us of the strange things he saw on the surface of the moon."

    ***
"It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineered structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away."

    Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev
Commenting on a UFO sighting that occurred while en route to the Solyut 6 space station in April of 1979.

    The Disclosure Project

    http://www.disclosureproject.org/

The Disclosure Project is a nonprofit research project working to fully disclose the facts about UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and classified advanced energy and propulsion systems. We have over 400 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret.

The moon landings are definitely not a fake. But that doesnt mean that there cant be mysteries about them. Why did we never went back, anyways?

The video I posted on my reply might be the DVD you mentioned? There was an update last year where a few more people came forward but it was overshadowed by the BP oil spill

Everyone to some degree is fascinated by the subject of UFO’s. We wonder if they are real, if they do come from within or from extraterrestrial sources, and sometimes if there is something in our basic make up that causes us to want to believe in the strange and mysterious.
The History Channel presents “I Know What I Saw” a program in which people tell what they have seen and theorize about the meanings and origins.
Firstly, this program is not a dramatic expose given by obviously publicity seeking individuals. Most of the people interviewed by James Fox (the director and producer of the program) are highly educated, trained observers who are imminently qualified to describe and make conjectures about what they have seen.
Displaying evidence from some of the most compelling sightings and interviewing a wide range of observers, Mr. Fox has put together one of the best UFO documentaries available. Shown on the History Channel in 2009, it is current and authoritative.
The recent sightings in and around Stephenville, Texas are included, with interviews of law enforcement officials who witnessed the events. There are several interviews and quite a bit of footage from the 2007 gathering for a conference at the National Press Club of scientists, pilots, military personnel, and government officials. All of these individuals have had experiences with unidentified flying objects, some of which might be new information to the viewer.
Footage from the Larry King Show interviews with James Fox and some of the guests to the conference are informative and very interesting. One after another these scientists, military people, pilots, trained observers describe their encounters and their reactions. Equally as compelling are the personal observations of people who have seen “something” and are seeking answers to their questions.
For the most part, these people are not declaring that they’ve seen flying saucers, and they aren’t looking for the weirdest explanation for the sighting. They just want to know what is was, and why it was there.
I Know What I Saw runs 94 minutes as the feature shown on television. There are a nice assortment of extras on the DVD including addition footage, outtakes and extended key witness interviews. Of particular interest is the 1979 interview with Dr. J Allen Hynek, who was in charge of the U. S. Air Force Bluebook UFO investigation 1948-1969 and who was responsible for debunking a lot of the UFO frenzy.
The investigations were “officially closed” and the Air Force declared to the public that they would no longer be investigating UFO events.
The collection of officials and scientists from around the world who have experienced sightings is equally impressive and in the bonus features there are more interviews with a French Air Force General, Richard Hall from the National Investigation of Aerial Phenomena, John Callahan, Federal Aviation Administration, and more witnesses to the March 1997 Phoenix Arizona events.
Whether you believe in UFO’s or just wonder about them, this is an excellent documentary about our current feelings and knowledge.

My brother believes that the US did get to the moon.... but there was something up there that meant they couldn't show us the footage... so it was faked...he told me this a few years back, so i can't say he was just using the DOTM announcement trailer lol

There are numerous websites with thousands of images from all the various NASA satellite reconnaissance mission of the moon that also show strange anomalies on the moon.

Oh shizzle not that Serpo project/mission again lol. People on the ATS (Above Top Secret) forums went nuts when that came out... it's like all the new trailer release dates threads on this forum.

Area 51 has been confirmed (and operates) as an aircraft testing facility for the USAF, NAVY, DOD, NRO etc. The underground levels house all the staff and machinery. Any stories/theories about UFO and ET retrieval programs run from that base are outdated, with all the publicity that facility has received they would have moved everything to a more secure location like Dulce or even a remote off shore or deep underground/underwater facility.
